Great pizza. The only entree if have enjoyed, and I have done it a lot, is the pizza. I LOVE pizza and this is about the best I have found in Denver. Now that I think of it, I have also had rolls and chips & salsa since that is complementary. Both are fantastic as well. Fair prices, fine service and great pizza. I would bet a paycheck the other items are good I just cannot stop getting the pizza long enough to find out!

Homemade & Wonderful. Its more than worth the wait for food this good! The Italian dishes are in keeping with the old family owned restaurants that Denverivites ran from their homes, using the living room and dinning rooms for service. Wonderful apps, great entrees and superb sweets. The Mexican menu is fabulous, though I usually opt for Italian. Friendly people, great atmosphere, lots of fun at night and pizza that people drive miles out of their way to pick up. Plan on taking the time to enjoy homestyle cooking. Far from "chain style" eateries! Anyone suggesting that simply has no palate!!

Great concept: Italian and Mexican. We live closer to the University and Dry Creek Piccolo's, but I like the Monoco location better. The menus are not the same. This location has a great seafood salad with generous portions of shrimp and artichoke hearts. If you are not in the mood for a salad they also serve great spaghetti and pizza.

Very Good neighborhood restaurant!. With an ambience of dark wood and soft lighting, Piccolo's quickly became my favorite local place due to its eclectic mixture of Italian and Mexican offerings. Though service is sometimes slow at lunch, the laid back staff is attentive and pleasant. The real highlight is the food. The large kitchen is visible from much of the seating where you can see the servers and chefs working quickly.

The home pasta noodles are equalled only by the spicy multiflavored Navajo Tostada or the must try desert Canoli. My partner proclaims the fluffy layers of chocolate and pastry desert heaven. It's an odd but tasty blend of cuisines so be sure not to eat too much chips or rolls in the beginning to have room to sample as much as you can.
