AMAZING Chinese Food. These guys have the best egg fried rice and sesame chicken. I am pregnant and have had the strongest craving for some good Chinese food and these guys MORE than delivered. I love that it's not a buffett style, but an actual sit down restaurant. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Anyone that enjoys authentic style Chinese will LOVE this restaurant.

How in the world is this restaurant in business???. Ate at this place for the first time yesterday and almost got sick. Chicken-fried rice is a pretty standard Asian meal that you can't mess up--but boy did they mess it up. The chicken was incredibly poor quality--very chewy and way too much fat and impossible to chew without having a napkin nearby. Not to mention I made the mistake of adding a little bit of shrimp. The shrimp tasted like soap and was very soft/mushy like it had soaked in water ALL Day! Not strong & "springy" like quality shrimp. Food quality: -5 stars. Price: +4 stars--but you get what you pay for. Next time you go to a place that charges $5/$6 for chicken fried rice meal and $1 for (3) shrimps, you should question the quality of food being offering for such a cheap price. It might make you sick! Needless to say it was a horrific Asian meal experience and I will NEVER go back! Seriously, this place needs to be shut down.

Asian at it's Best. Trying something new and different always precedes an emotional response. Especially when taste buds and hunger, a weary heart after work, is all tantalized and subdued by the experience. Turning in to South Garden, for me was a great first time experience, as Asian food is my most favorite of all cuisines. The owners were compassionate to my wanting to relax, have a good meal, and were prompt to bring water, a menu and helped me to try a new dish from their lunch specials. Wanting something with shrimp, the waitress offered "Salt and Pepper Shrimp" with egg roll, rice, and noodles on a bed of shaved cabbage. It was delectable! Each time a attendant walked by, they were courteous to know I was enjoying my selection, and yes was the answer each time! I left full and satisfied and vowed to come back, bringing my friends in tow!

Don't go!. The pieces of food we ate made us ill. The food tasted like vinegar. They have terrible customer service and are unwilling to resolve any issues. They wouldn't even apologize. Think twice before entering this establishment. The one star that I had to place is not even warranted. The program made me choose at a minimum of one.

RIP OFF!!. I just moved to the neighborhood and have been trying to find some good Asian food. I came across a menu for South Garden and was really excited to try their Tripple Kung Pao.. My total came to $14.70 and I gave the driver a $20 and told him to keep the change.I poured my container out onto a plate and was shocked that,(im NOT exaggerating) the container had one chunk of green pepper, two (very fishy tasting) shrimp and the rest was nothing but water chestnuts. This place totally ripped me off of my hard earned money!

Great Food! Love the Take out-Combination Fried Rice!. I have just recently moved to Colorado so I don't know many places to eat or where to purchase carry out food but last Friday, Jan 4, 08 I had just finished a long day at work and was hungry for Chinese Food. Just happened to spot the "South Garden" on Quincy and pulled in, It was almost 9:30 pm, closing time I thought but the girl cordially waited on me. I asked if they could prepare 2 orders of their combiantion Fried Rice to go, and within about 10 minutes I was on my way home. Wow, What a treat! They had like 4 or 5 big Shrimp, several pieces of pork, chicken and beef, lots of veggies and of course very tasty rice. I sat down with one of the to-go cartons and handed my wife the other and well, lets just say, it got very quiet while we feasted on one of the best fried rice meals either of us had ever had. It is now Monday, Jan 7, 08 and I will be stopping on my way home again, only this time I will explore the menu and see what else looks inviting. It will be a regular stop for us, I know! Thanks South Garden

Best Sesame Chicken. My boyfriend and I live in the tech center, and we have tried alot of different chinese restaurants. South Garden is by far our favorite! The sesame chicken there is to die for, and the people are extremely friendly and remember you. Their food seems nice and light, and is also good reheated if you don't finish it all!

Can't beat South Garden for Lunch. I probably order from South Garden 3 times per month and their lunch special never misses. They are the best value around. If you don't like Chinese that is covered with that sugary, gloopy mess that you find from most Chinese delivery places then South Garden is for you. Stir fried selections come with a light sauce that is perfect. The delivery people are always extremely friendly.
