young fero is probaly the worst person ever- she steals any time she can from people who go to her shabby bar- she loves to say she does it all on her own all she does is steal (all on her own) from peoples credit and debit cards puts fake amounts like $49.50 and $89.50 to keep under the radar . just a bad person has no heart, soul, or pride look you in the face and then stab you in the back/ makes poor homeless people that are in pain work for a glass of beer- let illegal drug users in after hours lock the door and charge extra for drinks knowing its illegal just a souless loser who would step on anybody stay clear. the bar is a pig pen/ dirty check denver board of health feros bar the armpit of denver colorado

She does it all on her own!. Young keeps this place up and running all on her own!She is so funny and very personable.I have never seen her be rude to anyone.From the first time I went there,she has made me feel welcome.

I love that there is a jukebox!You get to DJ all night!

Support hard workers like Young!

Excellent relaxed atmosphere!. Fero's is a very relaxed bar. If you are looking for a relatively chilled out atmosphere where you can play a game of pool and have a conversation, then this is a great place to go. The drinks are cheap, the ambiance is mellow and relaxed, and the service is fine. Sure, it is a little bit of a dive, but you get what you pay for--and then some. If you are a little uptight or looking for a fancy nightlife, then you should probably skip this bar. It's the type of place where you might run into a guy traveling on business who is staying at the hotel across the street, or maybe a lady who just got off of work and wants a cold beer... It is definitely not pretentious, and it's not the kind of place I'd call a "meat market." It's just a cheap, neighborhood bar with it's own character. I live in Baltimore, and these types of places are common there, but Fero's is a diamond in the rough in the Denver area. Whenever I am back in Denver, I make sure to go there just to say hello to Young, the owner. She's very nice and a real "people person."

Worst Bar in Denver Area. I went to this bar as I was staying at a hotel (Homestead) and when I got there had a horrible experience with the only staff person who works there (also the owner) named Young. She was rude and said rude things to patrons sitting next to me but acted like it was ok because she would be smiling while being very rude to them. Also when food was cooked it would smoke up the entire bar forcing everyone to evacuate the bar! Their is no music unless you pay the jukebox the whole time. Lastly, the customers are very few and very diverse so don't plan on being social bc the only person in there is an old wierd guy who sits by himself at the end of the bar (very creepy) and only talks when he's talking to himself or see's a female he thinks is pretty. Be aware what you pay for your tab and don't give a credit card bc the owner will add things to your tab without your permission or give other customers drinks at your expense without you knowing! Overall, I give this bar a F rating.

Horrible Experience. I recently went to Fero's and had an awful experience. Our server, who is also the owner, was EXTREMELY rude. I have never been treated so badly before in any kind of bar or restaurant. I was so upset and shocked by how nasty this woman was that I didn't order anything. I've never gone to a bar and ordered nothing, but I didn't want to spend a dime in here after being verbally assaulted in the way that I was.

I also had some friends who were there that same night that said that the owner was very nasty to them as well.

Along with the horrendous service, there was a woman passed out and laying down in a booth or bench near the dining area which was pretty sketchy. The woman was eventually escorted out of the bar, but I thought it was pretty ridiculous.

Overall, it was a very poor experience and I will never go back nor will I recommend Fero's to anyone.

Best Bar EVER!. Fero's is quite possibly the best bar on Earth. It has a great neighborhood bar feel, and in addition to the cheap drinks, they often bring in great bands and Dj's on the weekends.

Plus, if you tell them that Benny sent you, then your first drink is on the house!!!
