best indian. I just read a negative comment about this place. This is my favorite indian food place, Ive been all over the world and nothing even comes close to the excelent taste of this place. Its a little out of my way but is well worth the drive. I believe its owned by a husband and wife, the husband is very nice. I think this resturant is a must among indian lovers!

worst indian food (they can't cheat some one with good indian tastes). We visited the restaurant today and tried the buffet. The vegetable korma served was stale and smelling. When one of the managers was questioned by my husband , we got a reply that the curry smells so naturally. I was surprised at the answer coz he did not even try to smell or taste it before giving an answer. We actually suffered from bad stomach that whole day. The water served was smelling as if it is picked up from a fish tank or frog's well.

we would strongly not recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy good indian food.

Forget the rest - this is the best!. This is by far the best Indian Restaurant in Colorado. We?ve tried many Indian Restaurants and the Jewel of India tops them all! The food is flavorful without going overboard with the spice. The buffet is a great way to try many dishes.

Best Indian Restaurant. Jewel of India offers a delicious lunch buffet and dinner menu. There are a large variety of choices, each prepared with just the right blend of spices. The chai is very flavorful and a great accompaniment to the meal. Jewel of India has a very peaceful atmosphere with beautiful indian decor. The owner and staff are attentive and friendly. I give Jewel of India my highest recommendation.

The BEST Indian food in Colorado! Swaad! (Delicious!). Should you get the chance to meander to Westminster and track down the Jewel of India in its little corner-pocket location of the King Sooper's shopping center, order a lot of food. Not because you'll need it--the portions are perfect--but because you will WANT it! This place is divine, as you will be able to smell from the parking lot. The appetizers are always spot on (their pakora is to die for, but order the sampler so that you can make up your own mind), and the naan is outrageously good (the Variety Bread sampler is good with paratha, naan and kulcha, but the naan is so outstanding you might now want to mess with the other types). Moving onto the main course, the tandoori is always mouthwateringly smoky and delicious (my husband's favorite is the Tandoori Mixed Grill which is loaded with clay-oven baked meats), and the curries are out of this world. My personal favorite, though, is the Chicken Madras, which the restaurant will happily make "Indian Hot" if you request it, and which will bring a tear to your eye because of its tastiness and serious heat. All dishes can be toned up or down, by the way, so order your heat how you like it--they are happy to accomodate. Other family favorites: the saag paneer, lamb vindaloo, and aloo gobi. We haven't tried the lassis, but I hear that they're great, too. Oh, and don't forget your 10% off coupon from their website (look under the "Gifts" section of their website), you'll need it after your table fills with all the dishes from which you just couldn't choose. Hey, at least you'll have the best lunches in the office for a few days!

Jewel of India- The BEST Indian food in Colorado!. I am fortunate enough to call Jewel of India my favorite neighborhood restaurant. My children and I have been eating there since they were born. The service, always with a smile, is refreshing after a long day of standing in lines, and being treated like a stranger. However, while the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and always intimately Indian, and the service is perfect, every time...it's the food that has my family eating out of its hand. The traditional Indian sauces and gravies are rich, creamy, perfectly spiced and consistently delicious. The Chicken Ticca Masala, my personal favorite, is always made with tender, boneless white meat...and there is NEVER a weird chicken bite, which I almost always find other places. The chai tea is always piping hot, and perfectly sweet, and offered up as a perfect compliment to a delicious meal.

You want great Indian food, time after time? Eat here!

Good food, poor service. This is probably the best Indian food you can get around here - though only in the strictly relative sense. The food is still generic though they do prepare it well. Service poor - no sense of how to be good hosts. They'll rush you to finish your meal if you're even 5 minites into their closing time.

Delicious Jewell of India. My wife and I have regularly enjoyed this restaurant since it opened several years ago. The buffet lunch always offers some wonderful new dishes, and the usual offerings are distinguished by fresh ingredients and excellent preparation. The setting is pleasant and relaxing. The owner does not fail to give his greetings and ask for feedback about the food. Jewell of India serves the tastiest Indian food that I know about!

Best Indian restaurant ever!. We have been to many Indian restaurants from New York City to San Francisco. Imagine our delight to find the very best one ever right in our back yard! The food is fabulous! Each dish has its unique flavor - with spices appropriately balanced to blend to perfection. If you can, try the noon time buffet. It is loaded with choices - for both meat eaters and vegetarians. At every visit (and there have been many) the chef has prepared at least one new and different dish to tempt our palates! They also provide a delightful array of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

The decor is delightful. The service is excellent. Seating is efficient no matter if you are alone or with a group.

We have taken many guests; all (some of whom are very discriminating!) have raved about the food.

This restaurant is well named, for it is truly a jewel! Enjoy!
