West End's rooftop patio commands one of Boulder's best views of the Flatiron mountains from a deck that fits 100 people and comes complete with full bar and projection-screen TV. Downstairs and inside, there are brick walls, shining dark wood, comfortable seats and room for large groups. Tavern favorites dominate the menu--burgers, fried chicken and some excellent barbecue ribs and sandwiches. Entrees like top sirloin and grilled ahi tuna round out the hearty menu.

the west end burgers are incredible! absolutely delish! the wait staff could use lessons in being a bit nicer, but oh well. i'd recommend a burger with the wedge salad or fries. go for it! so good!

If not - don't bother with this place. The food isn't that great and I have never had even decent service there! I don't think the wait staff really wanted to even bother with speaking to us yet alone bring us drinks. Bit of advice - go across the street, better food, MUCH better service
