Always crowded on weekend evenings and often during the week, this is a small unassuming space comprised of two small rooms. Walls are decorated with African tapestries and pictures of Ethiopia. Backless stools surround masabs, small basket tables. Complex flavors are drawn from simple foods like red lentils and butternut squash. Food is served family style and everyone eats with their hands, dipping injera (spongey, crepe-like, Ethopian sourdough bread) into the various entrees.

Located off the beaten path, the food and atmosphere are authentic. The service is great and I love the honey wine. It is a unique experience and one of our favorite places to go.

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant has great options for vegetarians and meat lovers. The waitress was very nice and attentive. If you don't mind eating with your hands, this restaurant is definitely worth a try. We plan to dine there again.
