NEVER go to this dealership! Mike Austin is a dishonest man and not someone anyone should wish to do business with. I tried to buy a Land Rover Discovery from him and after a lengthy string of lies and insults the car is now so poisoned for me that I can't even think of buying it. I have never been so embarrassed or upset in my life, and it is all on account of Mike Austin and West Side Auto Sales.

Bought 3 cars from mike so far. He gave me decent value for my trade in, worked with me on the price( dealer charge, taxes, etc..) so it would improve my rates on payments, and overall have a great car for an even better price than i thought initially. Will use again!

Terrible-Horrible-CROOKS! DO NOT USE WEST SIDE AUTO EVER.

I had a similar experience to others who reviewed this dealership--Mike will look you in the eye, lie directly to your face, make a fool out of you, and then insult you. I don't believe I have ever been so poorly treated in my entire life. Buying a car should be a wonderful experience but instead this has left me on the brink of tears.

Please for your own sake, do not deal with Mike

I've purchased two cars from West Side auto. Now that I'm considering another auto purchase I'll definitely be contacting them again. They don't play games and their cars are priced reasonably. They were even accommodating when my credit union made them go through a bunch of hoops to get a loan.

Prior damage costing me tons. I bought a used car from Mike 6-7 months again. Two weeks ago I took it in for a brake repair and found out there had been body work done previously to the

right front panel, probably from an accident, that caused the brake damage.

Finding out my car needs over $1200 in repairs from the shoddy work that was done before I bought it was not the news I was hoping for. I do not know if Mike failed to disclose this since the accident did not show up on the carfax but he did not follow through on a past offer for discounted mechanical work which he pushed while making the sale. i would not buy from him again.

Lowsy Dealership. I have to say that I agree with the negative postings on this site and elsewhere. In looking for cars I read everything and after seeing the negative postings I was skeptical to say the least. However he did have low prices and so I showed up to let him earn my business.

The man who owns this dealership starts out pleasant, like all used car salesman, but it does not take long to see that he is not interested in the person but only the sale. With a small dealership you would expect the customer service to make up for the lack of inventory. Instead, in this case, it's just one guy seemingly trying to scam others to make a buck.

It seems that you definitely pay for what you get with this dealership. The cars are cheap because the quality is poor. Being there 30 minutes it was easy to see just what was going on and I left immediately.

I am not sure if the positive posts are friends of the dealership, un-savvy car buyers, or just plain ignorant. Whichever is the case, for my two cents I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.

The deals are good and honest. I have purchased several cars from Mike. He prices the cars well below others. He must buy well to sell low. He is honest and makes the transactions easy.

Any negative press must be from someone who lost their chance at a great priced car because they did not commit to the purchase. I would recommend West Side Auto Sales to family and have done so.

Life long customer. All these negative postings were posted the same day!This person also pulled this crap on other sites and should be taken to court. An upset costumer obviously posted several bad reviews the same day using different aliases. These reviews are harmful, slanderous, and hateful. I believe everyone had a right to write a review, but this has gone too far. July 10, 2009 postings are just absurd. I have been a life long Customer of West Side Auto Sales and will continue my loyalty. It upsets me that someone can even do this on internet!

Mike Auston is an honest man who works very hard for his customers. My family only buys cars from West Side Auto Sales because we know it’s a business that can be trusted and the owner (Mike Auston) goes out of his way to find just what we want in a car.

Bad people, Horrible Dealership. Mike Austin and this dealership are exactly what give used car dealers their bad name. While one may walk up to the dealership and be greeted with a smile and a friendly face, it is a complete facade as there is no room for kindness or helpfulness in a person so full of greed and deceit.

I was lied to, at every single possible moment. Mike Austin lied to my face about the condition of the car, he lied about his intentions for the car, he LIED while he looked me in the eyes, shook my hand, and told me we had a deal, finally he lied when he sold a car that had already been sold and was set to pick up.

If a man cannot be trusted on his word than he is no man at all. This salesman, this man, is truly no man at all.

Please, for your own sake and for the sake of some higher moral good, do not give your business to this would-be man.

WARNING: DO NOT DEAL WITH WEST SIDE AUTO. Do NOT, under any circumstances, attempt to buy a car from West Side Auto. I went out there to buy a car and was left hurt, furious, and humiliated. Not only are the salesman completely dishonest, but once they figure out that they are not going to be able to take advantage of you they do a complete 180 and add insult to injury by being exclusively rude.

After agreeing on a price, shaking the salesman’s hand, and having him look me in the eyes and tell me we had a deal, he put off me picking up my car for over a week until he had time to find another buyer. When calling the salesman out on what was an agreement he proceeded to verbally abuse me ultimately telling me to 'get over it’.

I would rather commit to walking for the rest of my life than give anyone involved with WEST SIDE AUTO my business.
