Quick, healthy and cheap Japanese food makes this homegrown chain a delicious fast-food alternative..
In Short
This simple eatery successfully tempers contemporary, urban minimalist decor with soft Asian touches designed to achieve feng shui. Bright wood contrasts flat black metal, and the architecture uses gentle curves and sweeping lines to create a clean, modern feel. The menu is divided between rice and noodle bowl dishes. Generous helpings of marinated and grilled steak, chicken, vegetables, salmon or shrimp are served over a bed of steamed white rice with oyako or teriyaki sauce.

Good quick meal.
I tried the white meat chicken teriyaki and vegetable bowl with brown rice. Decent value and good food. I'm not sure whether or not I like this place or Kokoro better, but I will be back next time I am in the area and looking for a quick healthy meal.
The one thing I would advise is that you ask for your teriyaki sauce on the side as my bowl was drowning in the stuff.

Good Eats!.
Since I moved from Colorado I have not found a restaurant equal to Tokyo Joe's. I love the flavors, the prices, and the atmosphere. I used to frequent Joe's alteast once a week just to get me "Oyako Fix"
