Golden Hotel Horrible Food. Adams Mystery Playhouse used the Golden Hotel to host one of their plays. The food was terrible. The plate held a chicken leg/breast thing that covered 3/4 of the plate. We also received a scoop of mashed potatoes, and a scoop of unidentified white/green shredded veg. mixture. No rolls, no salad. The whole plate was unappealing, and tasted very bland. I have never had hotel food that was this bad! I would recommend to anyone looking to host an event in Golden, CO would avoid this hotel and food. A chef could not try harder to make a worse meal. I feel sorry for anyone that eats at this hotel. ZERO STARS…

Awful wedding reception service!. I attended a Memorial Day weekend outdoor wedding and reception at this hotel. The view is lovely, but other than that there isn't a good thing to say about this establishment. The outdoor venue isn't setup to handle serving guests in a timely manner. It took almost 2 hours serve 90 guests. The food was lukewarm at best and most guests agreed that it was terrible. Luckily the staffed tossed baskets of dinner rolls on the table so that we had something to eat while waiting for our meals to arrive.

Worse than the fact that the food and service was horrible the hotel has since charged the bride and groom have since had their bank a account charged 3 times and the hotel manager isn't returning their calls.

Avoid this juke joint because happy endings aren't part of the service package!…

Great Wedding Reception. We had our wedding reception at the Golden Hotel and were so pleased. The special events coordinator, Tanisha Lucas, was so professional and helpful during the entire process. They really let us personalize the event, did not kick us out at the stroke of 10, and had a beautiful suite waiting for me and my husband. Oh, the food was great, too. All in all, a great night!…
