A Very Sastisfied Customer!. My hairstylst recently moved and I have been orphaned for the last few months. I tried one other Aveda salon in Lakewood, before finding Rita J's. Heather was awesome! Her knowledge of color and understanding of my personal needs were outstanding. Everyone at the salon was friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Rita J's to anyone. You won't be dissapointed! Not the same since their best stylists have left.. I had originally posted this in "comments," but realized it may not be read. I am a client of Kristie Morales'. She is an absolute master in her craft! Both Kristie and Kelley have recently decided to move on from Rita J's. I Of course this salon will not tell any of us where they have gone as salons typically do! If anybody is looking for a fantastic colorist, and a great stylist, go see Kristie! Not as what I expect from Aveda!!! Or for the prices!. So I was referred to Kristie, and when I called they said she was no longer working there, but would I like to schedule w/ someone else. Well I ended up seeing the owner. She was completely unprofessional with her comments, and had that fakey nice about her. Not at all genuine, and all I heard was about her grandchildren the whole time and other personal issues. I did not feel like the focus was on me at all. My hair was horrible. I don't know who taught this woman how to foil, but she crumbled the foils on my head, not this neat folding that people usually do. Then when my service is done, the high pressure retail starts! Even after I said I was good on my product, she continued to try and sell me. The environment is definielty beauty shoppish. After my experience there, my friend gave me Kristie's number in Arvada.
