We stayed Oct 28, 2011 and our car was hit by another SUV or PU truck during the night in the parking lot due to the height of the damage to our car. Our insurance company and I have requested a copy of the security camera tape to try and determine who did the "hit and run," but nobody will return phone calls or even an email. The desk clerk gave us a copy of the guest vehicle license plates and showed us that a working camera was positioned just above our parking spot so determining who did it should be very simple. Buit the owner does not seem to care about repeat business. Will not return our or the insurance company's phone calls and will not respond to my email request for his help.
Bad service, terrible place to stay at!!. Customer service was really bad and does not care about the customer. Don’t expect a refund back at all because the owner is the only one that can decide that but he lives out of the state. Only way to contact him is through an email and he will respond back rudely. Hotel is really run down and is falling apart. Doors are hard to open, room is outdated and not maintained and hotel is bug infested. Stay clear of this place because you will be really disappointed if you stay here. Avoid it like the black plague!
Terrible place to stay. After we received awful service while checking in, we found our room to be in poor condition. As soon as we saw it, we talked to the manager (who said he was the owners son) He was very rude. He was so rude that was had no interest in staying there anymore. We had only been in the room for at the most one minute. However, he refused any refund. The manager delivered customer service so BAD you could not even imagine what was coming out of his mouth. He is lucky his parents (unless that was one of his lies) own this, because otherwise I don't see how he would get a job anywhere. Terrible place to stay!!!
Highly don't recommend!.
If you want to be treated really badly and taken advantage of this is the perfect place to stay. I'd been at this motel once before and thought it safe, which it might actually be if you have really low standards and don't make any requests of the staff. As it was I made the mistake of requesting the same room I'd been in before, only to discover, after unloading my heavy suitcase, they couldn't figure out which one it was. I was then charged an additional $18.97 even though I'd already been told the price would stay the same.
My next joy was to discover the television wasn't working properly, and was informed by the desk clerk, when she showed up half an hour later, that since it had been more than 15 minutes she couldn't switch me to another room without the manager's "approval".
An hour and 45 minutes later I was told she could go ahead and switch me, but since by now they only had more expensive rooms available (I'd already paid over $85) I was expected to pay the difference. After choosing to leave, I contacted the manager myself regarding getting my money back and was told he didn't think that was necessary since I hadn't been willing to waste even more of my time and money with their establishment.
Doesn't that sound fun?
