If there were a rating for less than one star, Brooklyn's deserves it. Blame the management, not necessarily the personnel. Everything is overpriced and the hiring practices are sexist. Whoever staffs the place is under the misguided assumption that certain body types transfer into profit. The waitstaff is checked-out, the food is crap, and they price drinks as if they were a concession stand inside the Pepsi Center who can wrangle whatever price they want 'cause there's no competition. If you're gonna overpay this much, you may as well go somewhere close downtown with good service and decent product. I suggest Corridor 44 or Euclid Hall for walking distance. Brooklyn's should be out of business...it is THAT bad. Take it from someone who has worked in the industry.
It only took ten minutes... – We stopped in for a bite before a Nuggets game but left before we could try the food. We were directed upstairs to find the hostess who appeared after about a minute or two. We had enough time to look over the ENTIRE menu and wait an additional 5+ minutes without anyone approaching our table. Had someone even said "I'm super busy, I'll be right with you." or even chanced looked toward our table we probably would have stayed. Unfortunately by normal restaurant standards or any standards this places fails miserably.
Good find for burgers – Not being a sports bar kind of person, I was here for a meal a few different times--once before a concert at the Pepsi Center, and once when I was visiting the Auraria Campus for a business meeting.
It is not easy to park at Brooklyn's Pepsi location. Be prepared for that.
We were able to park at Auraria campus the second time, and in the Pepsi Center lot the first time....
On both visits, the food was good. Clearly, this is a sports bar and mostly a burger place, but it is a very good burger place, where quality ingredients are used and someone in the kitchen cares about putting out decent food. Food was served hot, servers were friendly and efficient both times.
I could not be here during crowded sports times, because I'm just not into it, so it will never be a hangout of mine.
But it is a nice place to go during quiet, non sporty times.
