Great Reptile shop under new mgmt. I recently purchased a black-throated monitor lizard and I cannot tell you how wonderful these guys were!! They helped me understand how to care for him and took the time out to go to my house to help me carry in the tank & my new "baby". If you need anything in relation to any type of reptile or amphibian, this is the place to go!! They are VERY knowledgeable and understanding. I have never been treated as stupid for any of my questions (even though I know some of them were stupid!). All the animals I've seen are healthy and well cared for!!  View Less View More

Free turtle. My mother bought a new cage for her turtle which was good. They gave her a free turtle to keep her first turtle company which you would think was a nice thing. Except the turtle was almost blind due to vitamin deficiency. Which as the other turtle place told me was due them not feeding the animal properly. If they didnt feed the turtle right how can anyone expect them to feed anything right. Buyer Beware!!  View Less View More

Improving as they go!!!. Not all of our experiences have been awesome. However, once one or two see what is happening, they attempt to do something about it. That is precisely what these guys are doing this year, especially the past six months or so. They are learning. But before we complain them to death, I've decided months ago to take the mature approach and ask enough questions about what they are doing to get them thinking about what they SHOULD be doing; i.e., gaining more knowledge of their pets, being more customer supportive. These guys have great hearts, and it is my experience that those who worked their in the past that were 'idiots', shall we say, are no longer there. Folks, be proactive in your pet search, do your own research beforehand, and never be afraid to ask direct care questions. If they don't know, or seem unknowledgeable, help them out a LOT by asking those questions that trigger their desire to know more. Surely you are not as immature as many of those who just want to dis others as many of these reviews do.  View Less View More

wrong day wrong time. This store has bent over backwards to help me and I am a regular coming in 3-4 times a week to get food for all of my animals. From carrying out tanks to my car to telling me everything I need to make my setups perfect. The manager and the two younger employees know exactly what they are talking about. Every question is answered correctly and I have actually checked up on the internet just be make sure, you can never be too safe. I believe the only thing that has died on me was a mature male Suntiger that I had for a good three months, compared to the other 46 animals/ arachnids I've purchased over the years.

I have been coming here for years and compared to the past employees these guys are great. I love what the manager has done to make the store more exotic and cleaner.

For the reviews below me, you must have just been at that store at the wrong time. Everyone has bad days.  View Less

Worst Reptile Store, Don't care about animals. I had no idea what I was walking into going to this store. The animals seems to me to look alright and when I asked which one I should pick he said "oh they're all fine". Lie. I purchased a pet and not long after it passed. Like the person below me, the manager blamed me and got off of the phone in a hurry. I am wondering what kind of animal store they run when they don't care about the animals, I believe this store is committing animal abuse and when they have the opportunity to rise to the occasion and fix it, they don't. I would say this is one of the worst experiences I have had.. even dealing with people and I am in the customer service field. I don't understand how the MANAGER can't even care for the little ones which he is supposed to be providing for and keeping healthy. If you are going to run a pet/ reptile store... DO YOUR JOB and take care of the ANIMALS. Not only that, it took the MANAGER about 10 to 15 minutes to even help me when I tried to ask him a question. If you care about animals DO NOT buy pets from here.. do NOT support this business of cruelty and abuse.  View Less View More
