My husband and I have been using Vaji for all alterations for a couple of years now. She does an impeccable job. My husband is very particular. He has been through several tailors trying to find one that met his expectations - Vaji finally made it. We have both had numerous items (sleeves, inseams, hemlines, etc.) altered by her. Parking downtown is a hassle, but she is worth it.

I have had nothing but EXCEPTIONAL work done at Vaji's alterations. I've had multiple slacks altered, and everything comes back with a perfect fit. Because she is of a different nationality, there is a small language barrier. I don't think it's because she's rude, just difficult to understand. Her shop is conveniently located above Subway, along the 16th street mall...great for those who work down town. However, it is a little cramped. Wait time is around 3 weeks, which I believe is because she is so busy. Again, she does GREAT work for reasonalbe pricies, if you're willing to put up with a little "uncomfortable-ness"
Pros: location, quality of work, price
Cons: language barrier
