Tips for Rio Del Sol

The only thing worse than horrible service is a manager that doesn't take a customer's concern seriously. It took a half hour for the waitress to deliver our drinks to the table another half hour to get our appetizers (both were ordered at the same time and one of the appetizer was chips and salsa), we had to get up to ask for plates and silverware then dinner came out within 5 minutes of the appetizers. The bill was over $100.00 and Kelly;s (Manager on duty) idea of making this right was to send a gift card. It took almost a month to receive the card and it was for $10.00. I would not recommend this place at all unless you really are not concerned with service

Editorial Review by Dave Flomberg. Mid-range Evergreen offers contemporary American dishes ranging from trout to buffalo sirloin, as well as unfettered access to The Evergreen Gallery.

SoHo is Back!. Yeah! The food has some soul again and the lively spirit is back in the place. Thank heaven & earth they said good riddens to that "manager." Plus, they finally have a Happy Hour for everyone. Good drink specials & appetizers that everyone really likes. Great food & great art as always. Check it out!

From great to average. High prices, average food and service. Things have gone downhill since last summer.

The previous reviewers were right. We wont be returning anytime soon.

Avoid It. Went there a few times in the last year after we moved to the area and it was great - lively atmosphere, great food and everyone was very friendly. Returned after a break of a few months and now the prices are through the roof and the food is well below average. Place seemed "down" as well with no happy buzz like it used to have.

Why do restaurants have to change a winning formula??

Don't know what happened to this place - guess I do know that I read the reviews!! Wish I read before I went.

Not any more. Used to be terrible, then great and now back to worse than terrible. When it used to be bad at least you got an apology or a complimentary drink while you waited up to 2 hours for your order - now NOTHING.

New Manager (AWFULL PERSONALITY) has cut back on servings and increased $$'s. It was already darn expensive for a local joint (way more than most Lodo and C Creek 5* eateries) but now its crazy. We ordered an expensive wine which was off and when we complained the Manager told us "its not a $200 bottle" - well, #1 they don't have any $200 bottles and #2 even at $50 or less wine is good or not and this was corked.

Long waits for cold food and if you complain - EXPECT NOTHING BUT RUDE RESPONSES.

Back to worse than SoSo. Yes, it used to be SoSo and locals would simply not risk it and stayed away. Then Gabe took over (as other reviewers have noted) and it became incredible - one of the best in Colorado. Of course, when you have a winning formula what better than to screw it up and fire the Chef!!

So, now they have a new GM who is as rude as all hell - prices through the roof and cold, late and indifferent food. God help you if you complain about a 2 hour delay and frozen steak - it will be your fault.

We tried a couple of times after Gabe was gone and ended up eating pizza across the road after a few hours wait at NOT EVEN SOSO.

AVOID THIS PLACE.

WOW. WOW What a restaurant!!

This place is great. The food is excellent. The service great. The room beautiful. The halibut is to die for. The seafood martini is top shelf also. The wine list is very good. Even the bread tastes is baked fresh. They have live music also.

The Place to Dine. The food and service are great. Try the Lamb, Soft Shell Crabs or Halibut. Ask for Linda the server. Ive not had one bad meal there. Definatley the best place in Evergreen and one of the best in the area. Keep up the good work,
