39.731601 -104.985901This is some great coffee! Best made espresso drinks in Denver.. I just moved here from Portland and I finally found some real joe here. I see they have multiple locations but I have only been to the one on the park.
Coffee lovers beware.
Visited the Aspen location, not impressed with underground location. Coffee was severely overroasted (carbony is not a positive description) Staff seemed aloof and uninterested. Poor excuses for smoothies, buddy had one with OJ and berries --- more like a snowcone in a cup (ice and flavor).
Also been to the one at Riverfront Park in Denver -- that's a bar, dont go if you want coffee. Also been to the one on Lincoln (Was trying to find some redeeming qualities) The shop layout was odd, fat couches that were too big for the space and a steel tool box for a table (creative but awkwardly out of place) had an americano at all, was the same (suprisingly stale for a local roaster) carbony, flat palate, little or no crema (The barista at the lincoln said its because we are above 5000 feet) hard to believe.
Wasn't what I was expecting.
Great coffee!. The Riverfront location is the only one I've been to but I love it. Excellent coffee, good sandwiches, love the interior and the patio. Those black and white drinks are to die for. And they serve drinks. What more can I ask for?
great mocha!. The best thing about ink! mochas IS the use real chocolate powder. it tastes much better than the syrups the other companies use. Plus, you can taste the coffee in it. AND the roast all their coffee in colorado. these guys know what they are doing. check out their bigger locations in riverfront park and louisville.......
Mocha Lovers Beware!.
I was excited to try the Ink Mocha because when I called a week earlier to inquire about their choice of chocolate, they said it was a secret. So I wanted no more than a 12 oz Mocha- and was poured a 16oz size. I asked about the size and the barista said (more or less) "oh, I automatically use that size- is that ok?" I said - "um, I guess." Still, Because I buy coffee out each day, I try to save a little money by getting a smaller size- and I wasn't that thirsty!- From customer experience... I payed for a 16oz. The milk consistency was fine- but the chocolate tasted like the powdered packets you buy in the store for hot chocolate.
My recommendation for better
CHOCOLATE is Dedrich or Peet's- they'll give you the size you ask for- and you'll appreciate the delicate and delicious mocha.
Great Coffee!.
This is some of the best coffee in town.
They have a new, awesome location downtown.
It is a restaruant, coffee house and bar. They did a great job with the decor making very inviting.
