Really good food!

The food here is VERY good. The broasted chicken is pure deliciousness and so are the fries, as my friend JAM says "THERE FOOD IS DELICOUS" Not to mention the OLD FEZZIWIG! The ambience is awesome.
The service is prompt an everyone is very friendly. I highly recommend everyone in the area to eat here.

Funky atmosphere / OK food

This is a funky little neighborhood restaurant-bar! I really liked the atmosphere - we sat in a cut-out fishing boat on the patio outside. It's a great place for enjoying a beer on a Friday night.
I would avoid the ribs though. They were really tiny (about cat-sized, though I'm not saying they were actually from a cat) and very springy and tasted kinda *bleh*. We ended up not eating them; everything else was OK. IMHO, it's more of a place to go for atmosphere than the food.

Best Broasted Fried Chicken, Potatoes, Comfort Food and atmosphere since I moved from Iowa! About Time!!

Wow, great comfort food and the Broasted chicken and "Iowa" Broasted fries were divine...We have had the craving for this stuff for 25 years since we moved here from Iowa! The It puts White Fence Farm to shame for about 1/2 the cost!
We sat in an antique mahogany ski boat and ate Chicken, Catfish, BBQ Ribs and had a bucket of PBR's (Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer!) lol
What a treat...and is 1 of a kind and they are closed tuesdays (darn). I gotta tell you if you have'nt had it, you are missing out.
It takes less time than a pizza but worth the wait.
The ambiance was like a vacation at a restaurant on Lake Okoboji!
We'll be back
Gotta check this 1 out people!
