Englewood's Hacienda Colorado.
Last evening, my husband, son, and I had a very enjoyable dining experience at Hacienda Colorado. I savored the slow-roasted barbacoa tacos with a side order of guacamole and margarita, which I will
definitely reorder in the future. The fellows dined on enchiladas, beef tacos, the all beef burrito with spicy pork green chile, and beers. Although we had eaten our share, we decided to order the Empanada with ice cream and crème sauce.
Well, as the restaurant was very very busy, our Empanada order had somehow been misplaced. The manager came to our table with dessert and told us that they were very sorry and would not charge us for dessert. Guess what, although we have another Hacienda Colorado nearer to our home, we will drive the extra mileage to this location for dining. Thank you, Hacienda Colorado-Englewood, for a great dining experience!!!…
BEST EXPERIENCE ALWAYS. My boyfriend and I live in walking distance to Hacienda's and go there quite often. I have to say I got a good laugh at all the bad reviews. First of all, the service can NEVER be bad. The waiters walk with head sets on so that if someone who is not your waiter see's that your drink is empty, boom you have it within seconds. If you run out of chips and salsa, boom it's right there as your finishing it. It's the best experience ever and that is why we have a hard time going anywhere else. We look up different restaurants around the area, but nothing can beat this place!! Try it! If you don't like it, you don't like it! I have a feeling the bad reviews were from people who didn't get their way, or work for another restaurant and they're needing service that bad.…
Killer Margs. Having gone on a Saturday night, there was a 45 minute wait. Luckily, we found a place at the crowed bar and enjoyed one of the best margaritas in town. Got seated, and started filling up on chips and salsa. Though not the best salsa I've had...it's pretty tasty. I ordered the Admiral Guzman's Shrimp Enchilladas. I have to say it was one of the best shrimp dinners I've had....the shrimp were cooked just right and the sauce was some of the most flavorful I've had...I would recommened Hacienda to anybody...…
Not Great, but not bad either.
I'm not a big fan of mexican food in the Denver area. But this place isn't that bad. I would call it a slightly more up scale Don Pablos with better food.
I had the Enchilada and Chili Relleno platter. The enchiladas were fine the rellenos were deep fried with more of a chicken or fish batter on them rather than the traditional egg batter, but they were ok.
The sauces that I tried (Pork Green Chili and Red Chili) were very flavorful.
This isn't the best mexican place in the world, but the food isn't bad and the prices are pretty reasonable. I would go back again.…
My New Favorite!.
Well, we just went to Hacienda Colorado for the first time and wow, we loved it! Not just the food, but the service and setting as well.
I got the Steakchungas and my husband got the Carne Asada...excellent dishes! The salsa is fabulous too.
Good stuff!!!…
