Best Buffalo Chili ever.
Visited on a cold day and had the best bowl of chili ever!
They are very nice and have a ton of great food but I had to tell you to try the chili.
averagefood at best. Teds has good buffalo burgers and the short ribs are good on Saturdays. The rest of the menu is not very good. The beer can chicken was not good. The salads are no fun.
Families and large groups feast on hearty cuts and comfort food at this Rocky-Mountain style steakhouse..
Lots of mahogany, tin ceilings, metal crown molding and Arts and Crafts-style décor prevail at this casual, comfortable saloon, part of media mogul Ted Turner's domain. Beef and bison are king, and they're hand-cut on site. Other bites include beer-can chicken, bison prime rib and cedar planked salmon. For dessert, there's home-made cookies, Kahlua fudge brownies, Coke floats and strawberry shortcake.
Awesome. Great place to go for a night out, with good food and cold drinks. After a awful night at a restaurant close by I wasn't looking forward to go back to this area to eat again. Glad I changed my mind! Get a booth for conversation order up and enjoy!
Didn't have high expectations, but Ted's didn't even meet those....
Tried Ted's looking for a nice steak...
Was not impressed with either the quality of the steak, nor the preparation. The wait staff seemed to be trying hard, but was not the most effective I've ever experienced.
Bottom line, below average food, below average service, above average prices = not coming back...
Cold Buffalo!. The first time my husband and I went to Ted's we had great buffalo burgers, very tasty, but the fries looked like they were from the bottom of the barrell and very greasy. But, since the burgers were so good, we decided to go back again. This time, our experience was horrible! My husband ordered the short ribs and I ordered the buffalo meatloaf. All of our food came out cold, the meat, the beans, everything. My husband isn't too fussy so he decided to just eat his food but I could not eat cold meat or beans so I told the waiter. He was very appologetic and said he'd get me a new plate. Well, the "new plate" was a bowl of new beans (hot this time) and a slab of meatloaf (no gravy on it) in a bowl as well. And guess what, the new meatloaf was the exact same temp as the last time...ughh!! I didn't complain again, just ate what I could and got our check. The waiter was gracious enough to take my meal off the bill. Not sure if we'll be back. Very dissappointed!
Under cooked chicken.
Have eaten here several times in the past, and have enjoyed their beercan chicken. This time it was not cooked thoroughly. There was blood showing. The waitress said that this is normally the way they cook it. I don't care for medium rare chicken and was disiponted with her response. The chicken had no spices this time. In the past, we've enjoyed this dish, but this time, I think they were too busy, and did not take the time to rub in the spices or to cook it, until done. I should say that the waitress did offer a free dessert as consolation.
The bar service was great. The bartender knew his wines and made a very good suggestion of a pinot noir. He even gave us a taste while we waited for the rest of our party.
