I would rate this place as far below average as I can without saying that I would not recommend it. I would only not recommend someone not eat somewhere if the food made me sick. The food at this place didn't make me sick it was simply very boring. I have eaten Barbecue all over the United States at probably 150 different Barbecue restaurants and Sonny's Real Pit Bar-B-Q would be the last one I would go back to. In addition to the food being boring the service was extremely slow and not very friendly or engaging when they got to you. I would have to be extremely hungry and the Krystal across the street would have to be closed before I would eat there again.
Pros: None
Cons: Service was poor. Barbecue sauce was boring and ribs were tough.

Not the best or the worst I've ever had. So what more can I say. Went once, and if I'm hungry and close by looking for bbq I will go again, but will not make a special trip to go there. Nothing was good enough there for me to remember.
