Best pizza in the triangle!. This "dive bar" is actually pretty nice, and it's just a stones throw from my condo . . . who said it was a dive, anyway? It seems the new owners are attempting to remove the old stigma. I reluctantly stopped by a few months ago (reluctant because I'd been there before), but to my surprise, it's actually nice now. It's slowly becoming my favorite spot to "hide out" and play shuffleboard, or grab a quick bite. They've been hanging HD plasma's, and they've got these 1/2 round booths that look like they're off the set of Goodfellas or something ...Pretty cool. Seems this place is really coming along. The food has been really good everytime, but the pizza's are especially deliscious! ps. inquire about their calzones (they're not on the menu, but boy are they good!) Keep up the good work Cap City ... if you build it, they will come!

Friendliest staff around. A group of us go to Cap City almost on a weekly basis. The staff has never been anything but friendly and the service has always been timely. Even on a busy night, we never have to ask more than once and our orders are correct. The staff is personable and remembers personal details to make you feel welcomed.

Now know as the USC bar. I have lived here in Denver for 3 years moved for Cali been looking for a USC bar i have found it. It starts with Ron who will run in the street when USC scores play the fight song when they score. Then you get to the people who will sit down and talk to you like they have known you for years. The bar tender you will give you a hard time when you say something stupid. Just a great place to be

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Neighborhood sports bar in the Golden Triangle has 11 beers on tap and is a big hit with the Cornhusker set.

This is a great bar with great food!. I love going to Cap City in the summer when they have the back door open and you can sit outside. If you want to go to watch football or sports, it is a great place--they will have a bunch of games playing and the bartender can change them to suit the crowd. Plus they have those little black boxes so you can hear the audio of your game at your own table....easier to hear the plays over the din of another. But don't be fooled, this is not just a sports bar. It has a great atmosphere for just hanging out and very friendly patrons (and servers too). The biggest plus is the food. THey have amazing hand tossed individual pizzas and yummy breakfast food (for the early games on Sunday) and they will do a made-to-order omelette if you ask nicely! WOW! Great all around bar--highly recommended.

Great Spot. I have had lunch and apps there, many times. The food is excveptional for a "sports bar" and the drinks are reasonable. Service is friendly and expert and it is always nice to see friends and neighbors there on a repeat basis. Heck, what fun to run into Haven

Moses, one of the Avalanche or Mammoth players, or just Jo Schmo. It is a fun place

to be and be seen! Highly recommended

I spent 8 Hours here.... So, I came in to have a little lunch with a friend...needless to say, it turned into happy hour and dinner...the owner and manager even joined in...The bartender was friendly to everyone-incliding the newcomers. Lots of people visiting a local convention joined us and we all took off our jackets and ties and watched the games. All the appetisers were five dollars at happy hour and all the patrond made me feel like a hot mama!

Love the food and whole experience. Been there a couple of times and look forward to getting back there! Went there for lunch...turned into happy hour. Had a really great time. I Felt like a local with the way the staff and owners hung out with us. Lunch by the way was a great surprise, I mean you don't expect great food at most bar/restaurants (I think thats why it's called bar food), but from the apps to the pizza I'm giving it an AAA+++. If you just need lunch, a place to meet a date or hang out with some friends go there!

Great Neighborhood Bar. This bar reminds me of neighborhood bars back East. No pretentions, great food, incredible booze selection and bartenders that always remember your name. Good for watching sports, especially football.
