Great food and service at reasonable prices. Been to this restaurant half a dozen times now, and I'll keep on going back again. Delicious food, excellent atmosphere, great service, and very reasonably priced. Another huge plus, at least for me, is that it's very close to the house.

As someone else mentioned, don't let the appearance fool you. Sure, it's located in an old strip mall, but once you go inside and eat, you'll appreciate what a great little jewel of a restaurant this place is.

YUMMMMY. Excellent food, great service and very reasonable prices. We had a little bit of everything (burritos, tacos, echiladas, chile rellenos, sopapillas) and it was all delicious. We ate so much we could hardly walk out. That's how good it is you don't want to leave anything on your plate. Can't wait to go back...........YUM!

Excellent hole in the wall. If you're looking for a little hole in the wall place with traditional, authentic Mexican food, and a little character, then this is the place for you. I've visited this restaurant for over 6 years and EVERY time I go in, I have a great experience. The owner's daughters are the wait staff and they are always very friendly. You may even see their kids seated at a table while they take care of their customers. The food is authentic Mexican food and the quality is consistent. Don't go in expecting a place to "see and be seen". This is truly a casual, family run place where you'll be taken care of when it comes to a great meal, good selection, and customer service. Prices are great and for the volume of food you get, it's an absolute bargain. The drinks (try a Pina Colada or a Margarita) are great too.

If you haven't been.... El Lucerito is an awesome family owned restaurant that used to be El Lucero. When the Luceros moved their restaurant to Aurora, I followed. El Lucero is still there but Mama Lucero aint the one cookin' and that is 100% why El Lucerito is THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD AROUND. If you really want good, authentic Mexican food for a price that leaves room for dessert, head on over cause Mama's always cookin'! Try the carne asada, cheese enchiladas, guacamole.... or anything for that matter. Que Authentico!
