Awful. One of the worst restaurant meals ever. Slow service, wine listings not available, cold and improperly cooked food, tried to over charge on the bill. Would not return if it were free. Just awful!

Best of the Best. We held a rehearsal dinner and could not have been happier with the food, service and atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to make sure everyone had a wonderful time. The food was served buffet style and most everyone went back for at least seconds. All of our guests have raved about all of the food but the bread pudding is fantastic!! We highly recommend Il Fornaio for a night to remember.

Dissappointed. My husband and I wanted to go to a "nice" Italian place for dinner so we chose Il Fornaio. I must say, the restaurant is beautiful and they have quite a large menu. The service was good but a little slow being it was dead in there that night. My husband ordered the sausage raviloi and our server recommended me the seafood raviloi. Well, it turns out the food is very pretty but not much taste and not very filling either. My husband's ravioli was pretty good but mine was bad, no taste to it at all. And the special sauce that was on it had no flavor, very disappointing. I told our server that my food was very bland and she was kind enough to offer us a dessert on the house. But then when we got the bill, the dessert was on there! So I had to tell her and she said she "forgot" and then had to go back and take it off. Kind of annoying! My husband said it best, "It was like a meal you'd get at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico." Not up to par! We'll be going back to Carrabas...sad, huh?

Go for the bread. This place is great for a chain. Not nearly as nice as some smaller Italian places around town. Great bread. Sevice was fine.

Did Someone Say Bread!!. It's Fabulous - Too bad the "Italian" Cuisine doesn't stack up as well. Gummy Noodles are not my idea of good Italian Cuisine. Not our first choice for "Chain Restaurant" Bill-O-Fare, Macaroni Grill is a much better choice if chain restaurants are what you're into.
