Signed up for a CitySearch account just so my friend, Mike, could rave about Eric's work. Mike is visiting from Chicago and Eric was able to fit in a consult and a three+ hour tattoo during Mike's visit. The design is beautiful and the work is flawless. The tattoo is awesome and Mike is so happy that he wants to come back to Denver to get more work done from Eric. Definitely recommend Brave New World (and Newspeak, Eric's other shop). Best tattoo shop in Denver. Super professional, incredibly gifted artists. Clean, well maintained store. Enrique is truly a master. I will never go anywhere else, you shouldn't either. Thanks Enrique!

This is the place to go! Enrique is the man. He’ll listen to what your looking for, and is willing to put in the time and effort to get you exactly what you want.

Be brave enough to give him some artistic/creative freedom, and he won’t let you down. If you’re thinking about getting your tattoo done elsewhere, I would encourage you to just stop in, talk to the guys, and take a look at the art on the walls.

Whether its your first tattoo or your fiftieth, this is the place to go.

After two consecutive HORRIBLE consults at Think Tank, I walked up to BNW and setup a consult with Chase. The dude was so inviting and personable, and so energetic he made me feel totally comfortable. Plus his work is AMAZING!. I told him the exact same thing I told the Think Tank guys - I have an idea for a half - 3/4 sleeve of some flowers for my sisters and deceased grandparents with some sort of design flow to it, but I view my tattoos as a collaboration between my ideas and whatever the professional artist feels would be the best piece of artwork (they do know best). Unlike the Think Tank guys who kept saying they need more direction and more information, Chase immediately took hold of the prospect and started talking about all kinds of different things we could do. He took the time to look through his portfolio with me to get a sense of what I like and don't like, and really listened to what I was saying. I sent him some pics of the flowers I wanted, and in a few weeks drew up the most amazing piece with a little Japanese influence of windbars and outlining. It was beyond my greatest expectations!! I had my 1st of 3 sessions ealrier this week and I gotta say - and this is the most important factor for me - that was hands down the best ink session I have ever had. Chase was personable the whole time, super professional and kept me at ease. He could tell when the pain was minimal and was talkative, and when doing the shoulder cap continually made sure I was doing alright. On top of all this, the other dudes in the shop made the atmosphere remarkable; everyone was friendly and jovial and made me feel very much at ease. I can't wait to get this thing finished and after investigating numerous shops in Denver (which was a headache), I recommended Brave New World to any person I talk to. I am very excited to say that Chase will be my personal artist for every tattoo I get for as long as I live in Denver. Thank you so much guys - this is a HUGE weight off my shoulders!

I was searching for a tattoo parlor and came acroos the reviews for Brave New World. Enrique was the artist who did my tattoo and he was great. Very calm, friendly and a perfectionist ~ he wouldn't begin until he had everything just right.

Great Shop! I went on a recommendation and I will definitely be going back in the future. Chase Martines did an awesome job and didn't shy away from doing small line work behind my ear. The shop was clean, comfortable and professional. I highly recommend it if you're looking for ink in the mile high city.

Brave New World is an excellent tattoo shop. They have a very clean and professional atmosphere. I have been working with Chase Martines. He has exceeded my expectations. I came in with some ideas and lots of tiny details for a full sleeve and he turned them all into an amazing piece of art work. I have had two sittings with him and have enjoyed his easy going conversation and professional attitude. I would refer anyone looking for any style of tattoo to Chase. I am so glad I found him and Brave New World.

I really like the music played at Brave New World. I have found at other shops the music is too loud and makes me feel stressed. At Brave New World they play a wide variety at a comfortable volume.

There is a reason they get five stars from so many people!

This place is excellent! I am from California and was visiting Denver for a weekend. They are not normally open on Sundays but Haley McMahon made an exception and allowed me to make an appointment. They met with me -- I came down in person -- and were flexible and understanding. I could only get my tattoo done on Sunday due to time constraints and other plans.

Everyone in the shop that I met was friendly. On Sunday I showed up, Haley met me there, and he was very professional, but also very welcoming and friendly. One of my favorite things about this shop (this is my fourth tattoo -- a different place each time) is that they were very thorough in their explanation of cleanliness and the entire process of sterilization.

The tattoo came out great. I am really happy with it. I initially only showed up with a concept and a crappy drawing that I did myself and he took the idea and redrafted it to form something worthwhile. The shading is cool and he listened when I had little critiques in regards to the way the outline looked. This was an overall awesome experience and a great tattoo.

Afterwards I was waiting for a cab and he gave me a ride to where I needed to be. Really welcoming.

If you're in the Denver area and are looking for a great place to get a clean and detailed/well done tattoo, then come to Brave New World.

I met the guys at the tattoo convention last summer and was impressed by all of their work. After consulting with Chase, he took my initial ideas to a whole new level. He was receptive to my suggestions, and worked on it until the design was perfect. He is a great artist and I couldn't be more pleased with his work. I definitely recommend that anyone looking for a tattoo should stop by BNW.

I decided to get a tattoo at Brave New World while helping my girlfriend move down to Denver and boy did I pick the right tattoo parlor. Enrique was the artist who did my tattoo and was incredibly accommodating. We discussed design and then settled on a price. During the course of the tattoo Enrique made several excellent design suggestions and even did another 20 minutes worth of coloring FOR FREE and all because we were running ahead of schedule. I will definitely be going back to get more work done. I would absolutely trust these guys to do ANY artwork for me in the future
