Descent, but lacks variety in rolls. Stopped by for lunch and was surprised at how little they had on the menu in way of rolls. The rolls I had tasted good, but I won't be returning.
Best Personal Service and Freshest Sushi in Town. The Freshest fish and best selection by far of any sushi bar in town. Mr. Kwon brings in his selections from Hawaii and Austrailia, Seattle and Japan. Outstanding Yellowtail collars! I highly recommend giving them a try.
Osaka Rocks!. This is my closest neighborhood sushi place, and the are great! It's somewhat pricey, but still rocks!
Mr. Lee is the Master. Mr's Lee and Kwon make this sushi bar the best in town. They constantly create magical rolls and dishes beyond description... You will leave wondering how soon you can return. If you are in doubt as to what to order, just let them make creations for you to sample...
Fresh, delicious fish in a simple strip-mall spot..
The Scene
Two rectangular rooms make up this casual eatery--one inside and one cozy, glass-enclosed patio decorated with twinkling white holiday lights. Less than 20 tables create the dining space for couples and families, while a lengthy sushi bar lined with pale wood and chrome chairs creates a comfortable option for singletons.
The Food
It's hard to believe that fish in Denver can be so fresh. The menu here is typical, offering a healthy selection of standards ranging from miso soup to combo specials to noodle bowls. But most people come for the sushi. Rolls are weighty and abundant, but the Alaskan (smoked salmon, crab and avocado) and the Las Vegas (apple, tuna, salmon, cucumber, masago) are especially good. Shrimp tempura is lightly battered and pleasing. Unagi has a tendency to be a tad bit too fishy. Dinner is followed by an orange, carefully cut and arranged to look like a teddy bear.
