A cheap place to find carpet

Carpet exchange had the best prices. They were nice and able to help me find what I needed. My only complaint would have been that it took 4 days to get it installed but most companies quoted me longer.

Fake and Unprofessional

DO NOT GO HERE!

We were welcomed by a great lady who helped us pick all the right things out. THEN...

They came to measure and they measured short on tile, carpet, AND backsplash and even though it was their fault, they charged us for an entier box, when we needed just 2 tiles!

The people at this store acted as if we were stupid when we came into complain about the person who measured, but it wasn't US that was stupid! They even laughed in our faces! Very UNPROFESSIONAL at this store!

They over estimated WAY too much glue, then wouldn't take it back or reimburse us because it was in our posession, even though we hadn't opened it!

We cancelled the rest of our order and lost some money, but I would rather take a small loss in funds and let you ALL know NOT TO DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE, than to give them my business!

Go to a different company, this place is way over priced and over rated!

Shady Organization

Purchased at Thornton, CO store in 2003. Went to store on Santa Fe Blvd. (close to my work) to see samples again, found lower prices. Salesperson evaded when questioned, directed me to Thornton for answer. Installers took 3 days to finish 1-day job; excuse was they had another home to do. Then I found something I use daily missing the last night. Complained in writing re price difference, late completion of job & stolen item (acknowledged lack of proof, but wasn't going to stay silent). Rcvd measly $50 discount. Carpet wasn't originally stretched correctly in master BR, bulged at edges. Thought we could push it down w/baseboard (done in 2006 -we're bad at remodeling!), but it worsened. I left message for install mgr. Took 2 weeks to return call. I explained we had carpets cleaned, which created bulging in office. He explained it would go back down after it dried, which it had by the time he called back. I also explained bulging in master BR, which had nothing to do w/carpet cleaning. Yes, it was under warranty he said. Since I didn't want the original thieves in my home, install mgr said he'd figure out how to work system & get back to me. 3 weeks later, no callback. Left another msg, rcvd call back 2 days later. He didn't remember discussion, said I was supposed to get a call from one of the installers (Steve), which I hadn't. Tried to remind him about our conversation; started w/carpet cleaning explanation, but he didn't let me finish, so he assumed problem was due to carpet cleaning. Then he yelled that it was not under warranty. I tried to finish reminding him what was discussed again, but wouldn't let me finish. He switched & said it wasn't taken care of b/c we didn't have invoice # - I called him out on why he said I'd rcvd a call from Steve. He said "I'm not Steve, I don't know why he didn't call you." Since he was belligerent & inconsistent, I said don't worry about it and hung up on him. I'd rather pay someone else to fix their mistake. This place is shady.
