No Hype, No Trendy Gimmicks, Just Awesome Pizza!! - The Best in Colorado!. A New England transplant since 1995, and I have finally found the perfect pizza. Complete with a perfect blend of Tasty Sauce and cheeses and toppings, on top of a PERFECT crust...Just like back East. This is truly the Best in Colorado! My recommendation...Try the Mushroom, Onion and Sausage. You won't be disappointed!

Best pizza in town, seriously!. I'm sorry the last reviewer had a bad experience there; that *has* to be an extremely rare event for Papous...

We have eaten meals there at least 20 times in the last year and the pizza is always incredible.

The crust is wonderful, thinner on the bottom and thicker crust on the edges....buttery and very tasty. The crusts on my pizzas have always been done to perfection; completely cooked (I cant stand uncooked dough), slightly crispy on the edges and on the bottom.

All the toppings I have had are great; the Italian sausage is soooooo good. The pepperonis are wonderful and all the vegetables are fresh and retain excellent flavor after cooking. Tons of good cheese and an extra cheese pie is incredible.

I love my pizza and having had some of the best in the USA on the East Coast and Chicago, I would still place this in my top three.

Very disappointing. Usually I don't get disappointed when I go to a place rated 9.0 or higher, but I was. I ordered a Papou's Special which had several toppings. This "Connecticut Style" pizza had a nice outer crust but a too thin interior crust, which made for a soggy pizza.

In addition, pizza burnt in several places on the bottom.

On the positive side, the toppings were excellent, but on the whole, I would not go there again. (Rating: 3 out of 10)

Best Pizza Around. Wow, what is conneticut style pizza?? We did not know either. But after we ate there we were hooked. Try the Mediterranian style pizza. That was the best I have ever had. Great service, and good pricing. It is worth it.

Pleasant find. I was searching "Best Salad" when this place poped up, so decided why not try it...

We were very pleasantly surprised. Tasty, fresh pizza and..... a very nice salad.

The place itself has a very "take-out" feel...... but the counter help made us very comfortable.

Great Ingredients Make Great Pizza!. I love Papou's for their quality meats, cheeses and veggies. The atmosphere is not the trendy chic hot spot, but it is warm and inviting and the food more than makes up for anything the decor may be lacking. The italian sausage is the best I've had this side of the mediterranean! The salads have dark green leafy greens, fresh/flavorful veggies and satisfying dressings. The staff is friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that you are there.

Best in Denver. I've had many pizzas in Denver, and this is the best.

When considering "pizza-gasms" this one comes pretty close!

Best Pizza In Denver!. We LOVE Papou's!!! Not even close - tried all different pizza's and ths by far is the best one in Denver!! I'm from Chicago, my boyfriends from Boston - so we've both had some good pizza's - and this is by far our favorite in Denver!!

best subs and pizza in CO. This place makes me feel like I am back east where mom and pop pizza shops are much more common than Denver. If your tired of the frachises, head over to Papou's for some home made "grinders" and pizza!! The pasta is awesome too!
