Denver >Eden II Spa
Garden of Eden!!. I love this spa!! The staff is so nice and the spa is even better. You walk into an indoor garden and instantly get soothed by the scents and the atmosphere. The staff is so relaxed but in the best way possible. The consult with you to see what you need and then proceed to satisfy in the most professional way possible. The individual rooms are super cool and the deals are crazy. I did the "new you" package consisting of a body wrap, massage and facial. Three hours at the spa made me as brain dead as possible but I couldn't ask for anything more. This package cost only $149!! And if I just wanted a massage and a facial, it's only $99! You can't beat it. Best way to spend a lazy Sunday.
Great Gift. I gave my girlfriend a spa package and she loved it. I am so happy that this turned out to be a gift that she really liked. I am planning on going in myself for a massage after I climb my first 14er at the end of August.
Amanzing!. Eden was the garden of eden as soon as we walked in (mom and I), it even smelled like a the perfect place to relax! We were getting massages on a Saturday morning. We were a little worried at first there isnt a front desk person. but soon after 3 girls came out of there rooms eager to help!!! Our 60 min massages were a gift from a friend with the Weekly Plus Gift Certifactes.. We paid $29.00 @ the end of our massages AND I FELT THAT WASNT HARDLY ENOUGH!!! our massages were so Relaxing, my therapist Christy listened to all my likes and dislikes and masterd my massage! My mom's massage was also rewarding!!!! The music and rooms are a perfect garden in the middle of Denver.. We will be returning very very soon!!
Dont go there! Looks are.
Where to begin? Other then this was a COMPLETE disappointment all the way around! I have never had such a poor experience at a 'day spa' before! I purchased 2 gift certificates from Denvers Groupon in December, they were $50.00 values for $20.00 each. I booked an appointment for myself this past Sunday. When the girl booked my appointment over the phone I told her I had a gift cert. I showed up 10 min before and came all the way from SW Littleton. Really in need of a relaxing theraputic massage, I just got back from a 3 week long rd trip and was strapped financially and beat up from all the driving... To my dismay.. the gal who was going to give me the massage was also the receptionist(?) just got out of a treatment, as no one was at the desk to great me when I came in. Then when she gave me the paperwork to complete, didnt seem to have even checked the reservation with my info, as she acted like she just started there (very ill equiped) and that I was there for the 1st time and yes was going to use a certificate, was ganna take me to the treatment room when I asked so how much is it (after overhearing something like $79 for 1 hr (!) No offense to the receptionist/massage therapist girl but didnt look worth that..she was smaller then me and I am 110 lbs! So even with the certificate it would have been $29.00 out of pocket, take in account the $20.00 I paid per certificate and I was paying $49.00 for a 1 hr massage (hardly a deal!)... = their reg cost for first time customers.. $79.00 was for customers with gift certificates. How screwy is that?! different rates depending on how you are going to pay for the same service, seems illegal! I was not prepared to pay that much out of pocket... and ended up having to talk in front of other clients to a gal who was whe pulled in becuase she was in the dark who was defensive snotty and totally rude, she could care less that I was having a poor experience.. and even said I didnt need to yell at her, my tone was not loud at all... she was more then happy to not do a darn thing about it or try to offer solutions to help (little did she know she would have had a loyal customer for life) and I could tell she was happy that I was leaving so she didnt have to 'deal' with me. I thought 1/2 the battle for businesses was getting people in the door! I am not sure how they stay in business with the lack of sincerity and integrity and professionalism they displayed to me... needless to say I walked out of there with certificate still in hand.. BTW they said they sent me the wrong ones and the ones I had they gave out free??? I have never heard such a thing.. then why didnt they remedy right then and there and give me the 'right' ones??? The sad part is I gave the other certificate to my boss thinking she could enjoy a massage on me.. now she will have to pay $29.00 and tip too if she wanted to use it. I feel ripped off unappreciated and even got a virus on my computer when I purchased the deal from groupon.. no one is willing to take responsability here and I am out $40.00, the gas to drive down there and 1.5 hrs of my day (was at noon) on Sunday so took my whole day of plans with it! Dont go to this place there are MANY MANY better offers and experiences out there. I grew up getting massages since I was 13 I am 32 now and a professional sales manager and customer service mgr/ office mgr for a small local business myself... (yes I run the show) and these folks looked like they just got out of massage/beauty school! Not worth the premium price they were trying to get! Massage Envy would have been a safer bet! And that is sayin something right? I would have gotten 2 hours at that price with them!
On a positive note, nice plants in the wait room.
A low key relaxing jem. Eden has one of the best package deals in town. You can't get 3 hours anywhere else for $149 that I have found. The only down side is they don't always answer their phone, but the always give a call back within an hour if I leave a message when trying to make an appointment.
My new favorite place!!!!!!!!!!!!. I have gone to Eden II about five times for a massage and a facial. Every time I have been there it has been a wonderfully relaxing experience. The package prices are very affordable. I feel like it is an environment that really takes me away from my daily stress.
TERRIBLE chiropractic, great massage, CROOKED OWNER.. So, i have been going on and off over a couple of months in the past year or so. the massage therapists are great, personable and effective. the chiropractor(s) are rude, pushy and greedy. the moment you step into their 'office', they insist on examining you, try to push you into saying certain things about pain and discomfort and the moment you question their billing calmly, Rory gets really mean, short and churlish on you. when you're in the office and spending money, he's nice to you. in a distant way. And they don't tell you how much money they are charging your insurance company, so they are charging you twice the amount of the normal price. i feel RIPPED OFF.
Love it!!!. I have been going to Eden for about a couple of months now after a car accident for massages and adjustments and what a godsend this place has been for me! Everyone that I've seen has been really good and I've been to quite a few over-priced 5-star resorts that left me regreting going and wasting my money.
Great Place to wind down and relax.
My friend and i booked a 3 hour Spa Package, ! hour Facial 1 hour Massage and 1 hour Body wrap..
My facial was very relaxing. whatever she used on my face smelled so good. the room was very pretty with plants and different pictures. the day after my face was glowing.
My Massage was wonderful the girl used hot towels on my back and feet I asked her to work on my feet and neck i couldn't ask for a better job. the room was so relaxing with plants and fountains and even a fireplace!! It felt warm and cozy. after my massage i recivied a body wrap it wasn't like the body wraps i had recivied before in the past. But the oils thats she used smelled so good and she rub my head and neck while i melted like butter.... My friend had also the great experience as i did we were also given Coupon's for the next time we go back.!!which will be very soon....
Relaxing Spa, Friendly Staff, Good location!!
I was disappointed. I was expecting a very upscale place, but thought it was below average. The atmosphere was similar to a massage parlor in someone's house, with plants and tchotchkes everywhere, and music too loud. FYI, I purchased their "New You" package, which included a massage, facial, and body wrap.
I must have been the first customer of the day, because when I walked in it was freezing, the girl at the counter (who was also the one who did my facial) couldn't find any of the forms for me to fill out, and there was no bathrobe for me to put on. She seemed very uncertain, yet semi-lecturing and sales-pitchy regarding their facial products, and the water during the steaming smelled awful. Moldy, maybe? And now, 3 days later, my face is peeling like crazy. Additionally, while the mask was on and "sinking in", she was washing out her dirty bowls in a sink in the room, which made an awful clattering (not to mention the squeaky faucets and someone knocking on the door) -- not relaxing in the least.
The massage was better, and the woman found some of my sore spots and worked on them a good bit, but I sometimes got the feeling she was spacing out and not paying attention to what she was doing, resulting in pain; and when I would wince she still didn't change her style. Starting the day after, my lower back became incredibly painful, and still is. I've had to go to the chiropractor and to 2 subsequent massages (elsewhere) since. Also, the massage room is right on 11th, and every 2 minutes or so a bus or loud car would come roaring by.
Overall I just felt this place was not as polished as an upscale spa should be. A further example: when moving from one room to the next I had to carry my clothes & shoes & purse, and then someone handed me a glass of water at the same time, leaving me trying to juggle everything. And when I needed to go to the bathroom between treatments, there were no slippers and that tile floor was COLD! Also, as I had booked for a 3-hour treatment and was parked at a 2-hour meter, I was told someone would feed the meter for me, but I had to remind them.
So, given all of that, I won't go back. It was cheap, but this proves that you get what you pay for.
