What People Are Saying About Eden Spa

In Short – Behind this spa's bland brick exterior is abundant indoor greenery, and touches of New-Age spiritualism marked by wizards and beaded candles. Massages and chiropractic work takes place in historic, exposed-brick rooms, some with antique fireplaces. Facials are executed in a tidy chamber with framed paintings. Deft massages are the main reason most people visit ths spa, although others come for chiropractic services, facials and acupuncture. –
Great place!

I had a facial with Kayla recently and it was great! She looks young, but i was informed that she had been in the skincare business for almost three years now, and her facial definetly proved that! It was so relaxing that i actually fell asleep, and I have never fallen asleep during a facial. She also gave me great tips on what products to get for my teen age daughter who is suffering from bouts of acne. The other girls who worked there were very courteous and friendly, I will definantly be back!!
- Pros: Great facials, beauiful atmosphere!
- Cons: Parking downtown
Awful!

I thought I would give it a shot based on the 'positive' reviews. I have never been this disappointed with basic eyebrow waxing. I fail to understand how a 'trained' staff could butcher my brows so. Her response?? don't worry it'll grow back!!
I am not sure how the rest of the 'services' are, but neither I nor anybody I know will be going to this place.
- Pros: Nothing
- Cons: Untrained staff.
dissapointing experience
by cuda
I've been going to Eden Spa for around 7 or 8 years now, if not more, and had always really loved it. My last visit about a year ago was very dissapointing. After numerous mistakes with the booking of my massage appointment, an inexperienced masseuse, and a complacent reaction to my dissapointment as a long-standing customer left me with a bad taste about Eden. One year later I decided to give it another shot in hopes the Spa could redeem itself in my eyes. As someone who frequently needs and gets massages, again I was disspoainted in the apparent lack of expertise by my masseuse (even after specifically requesting someone with experience at the time of booking), and not only did their fees go up nearly $20 since last year (from $60 per hour to $79 per hour), but my massage fell short by 10 minutes. When you're paying upwards of $1.50 per minute that adds up significantly. The atmosphere there has always been relaxing and comfortable, so Eden Spa still is able to maintain one star from me, but I would not reccommend the spa to others as a place to go for a therapeutic professional massage experience.
