Great Beer. This place had the best beer ever and I loved it. You can never get enough of this place, I would like to come back and eat here every week.

Rude!. They had broken glass all over the dance floor, their employees laughed at my bleeding foot and told me not to wear open toed shoes. I had to ask the manager to get a band-aid. Also, I was screamed at last call telling me that I couldn't use the bathroom before leaving. Awful place, rude employees. Don't go there.

just a plain ole tavern. Slightly hip crowd for a tavern. Not too large of a crowd on dinner hours, drinks were reasonable. Not a favorite spot but one of comfort.

Not a place for Broncos fans. Went on a Sunday to watch a Bronco game with some friends that wanted to watch another team play. They could see their game fine but the only tv with the Broncos on was way across the room. The hostesses and bartenders were rude (to put it mildly) and non-accomodating. I was told that the owner "makes Broncos fans sit in the back". I respect bars that accomodate fans of other teams, but don't treat your local Broncos fans like crap...we're the ones keeping your business going the rest of the year!

Great place for Rockies pre and post game hangout. The Food here is great, the staff is accomodating, and the service is really good. You can watch any game you want to at this place, just request it they probably have it!

Good food, very friendly staff!. The Blake Street Tavern was recommended to me by my hotel as a fun place to go with good food. I was there on St. Patrick's Day. I enjoyed the food and the staff was very friendly, helpful, and personable. Next time I'm in Denver, I'll definitely return!

Great service, delicious pub fare. The serivce staff is great, the burgers are second to none, and the Flying Dog brew is the freshest in the city (it's brewed next door).

Before and after a game. This is good place that's just far enough away from Lodo that you don't have to have that "Dressed for a hook up" look. This is a bar, with great beer, good food and if you speak nicely to the bartender, she may give you a small taste of Stranahan's, the only whiskey made in Colorado. BTW, the whiskey is made next door. Pull up a barstool, order yourself an "Old Scratch", have a snifter of Stranahan's, some nachos, lively conversation and you'll know what this neighborhood bar is all about.

Always good. This is one of my favorite places to go. I love the food and the service has always been great. The croud is usually fun and the restroom has more than one stall! They have drink specials, a pool table and a dart board.

Shaun of the Dead had the Winchester, my friends and I have the Blake Street Tavern.. The beer alone is enough to keep the most discerning palate in his seat, but the draw of the Blake Street Tavern only begins with Flying Dog brews; the Blake offers the only plate of nachos where the chips will be gone before the toppings every time. What's more the buffalo wings are consistently cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. If you're looking for something more substantive, you can always expect a very tasty cup of spicy chicken chipotle soup, a pretty good burger or club sandwich, prime rib cooked to order, or a filling Chicago-style dog. The real draw with the Blake Street Tavern, though, is the atmosphere; large plasma screens and all the sports packages to watch your favorite team, separate rooms to host a party, trivia night, booze tastings, shuffle board, pool, whatever your fancy, and it's all highlighted by a staff that never stops smiling, laughing, and joking.
