Vincenzas is about as close as it gets to Sunday dinner at an Italian's home...down to the atmosphere which is reminiscent of a East coast burrow. The food is so authentic and it is obvious the owners/chef take great pride in their food. The service is straight up casual ...more like the Italian mom that never lets you leave hungry.

As others have mentioned, the ciabata bread is to die adfor. My wife ordered the pasta diavolo linguine which was fabulous. My clams linguini was delicious as well.

The only only thing that could make Vincenza's any better would be of they served a better selection of wines. With food so authentic there's no reason the wines should be on the cheap side. Other than that minor detail, the food is fantastic and I can't wait to go back!

Vincenza bakery is always a favorite place to take family and friends. The food is pretty good, if not amazing. The service it great and the atmosphere is super comfy casual. Prices are about right for the quality of food but all in all you get a good meal and have a lot of fun.

Another place highly reviewed that we finally made it to. The food is terrific. We shared plates which worked well because portion sizes are just right. The service is wonderful. They take care of you but don't hover.

I can hardly wait to get back.

I always bring guests here for the pizza, which has an unique recipe and presentation. Bread and Pasteries are also excellent. The building is vintage- a snap shot of the 1920's from when it was still a neighborhood dairy.

We've eaten here 6-8 times. The service has always been friendly and nice. The place (the historic coop creamery) can be cozy when its filled with other diners. I can't recommend everything on the menu, but I can recommend the homemade minestrone (very nice on a cold miserable day, with just the right amount of heat), the manicotti & the fettuccini alfredo. Recently they seem to be working to keep their pastries/deserts more fresh - which I appreciate. Thanks, Vicenza's!! I can recommend the coconut macaroons. Yummy.

Charming and delicious – The building is among the coolest buildings a restaurant could be in..old and distinct looking.

Inside I was bombarded by aromas that you can only smell in a bakery. The pastry case is packed and I could on try a couple items. A canoli and pine nut cookie. Both are delicious and beyond words.

The Dinner was served quickly and the pasta was cooked al dente. The sauce was fresh and the giant meatball was homemande. YUM

For sure this will be one my regular adventures.

Great Little Family Italian Joint – My husband and I took the kids for a sunday dinner and were very pleased. It's not a fancy place so I wouldn't go there for a special occasion. However, it is the perfect place to bring small children and not have to worry about them bothering other folks. Our family felt quite comfortable there in the back dining room. It was like sitting in the kitchen a grandmas. And the food was definitely homestyle. The sauce was loved by our kids especially and we all found it to be tasty. The sausage was wonderful. The kids loved going to the counter and picking out pastries for desert too!

This will definitely be an new hangout for our famiglia!

Neighborhood Gem – Just want to say for all you who gave Vincenza's a bad review, your crazy. I had great food and great service. For those who are unsure what to get I tried these dishes which I would highly recommend: pasta diavolo, caprese salad, penne and Broccoli, eggplant parmeasean, and berry tiramisu. Everything was amazing!!! Hope you all feel the same after you go!

Love Italian food...don't love this place! – We live by this restaurant and had driven by a number of times and gave it shot finally last night, Valentine's Day. Should of got the the clue right away when the place was maybe half full on the biggest "dinner out" night of the year.

Outside looks cute, inside needs lots of help. Run down, bad decor. But that might of been the best part of our dinner. You walk in an you smell nothing. An Italian restaurant that doesn't smell like a warm loaf of bread and garlic is probably not a good one.

Sat there for 10 minutes without being acknowledged, then our server took our drink order and said she'd bring out some bread. Another 10 minutes we got bread, our drinks and we ordered.

My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which on the menu claims that it is reported to be the best in Denver. I got the special which was pork shank with pasta and the house ragu.

Our review of the food was that it was something I would expect at a Furr's cafeteria. Just bland. Everything. But the house red sauce or Ragu as they call it was tasteless and watery. Nothing more to say. We asked for parmesan cheese when our food was delivered to at least add some flavor that way. The waitress said she would try and find some and probably have to steal it from some other customers...again, an Italian restaurant that has to TRY and find parmesan cheese for their food.

Alas, we never got the parmesan cheese. We had to ask for our bill. And we witnessed the apparent owner not only sit idly by as the wait staff struggled and did not do anything except to berate our waitress (who was horrible) and threaten her that if she start taking care of this one table in 2 minutes, she needed to leave.

So that's that. Not going back. I truly wonder where some of the framed reviews that say the place was amazing came from, they were over 4 years old, so maybe the parents of the current owners started it, left it to them and now it sucks. And sucks bad.

Won't return.
