**Do not purchase appliances from
Appliance Factory Outlet!! **
I just bought a new KitchenAid refrigerator for $2,649.00. It was defective upon delivery - the ice/water does not work. After waiting for 1 week for a repair appointment, then another week for the "magical part" to be delivered and installed...ice and water still do not work. Appliance Factory Outlet does not care and continues to tell me this is between me and the manufacturer. 2 days after it was delivered I demanded a replacement or a refund...no dice. The manager is some young kid who hangs up on customers when they are upset (not out of line, no foul language, etc.). I feel like my hands are tied. KitchenAid is no help either - they will "attempt another repair". Well the next repair makes three and then we will have to fight them with the lemon law provisions. In total I have wasted 12 hours on the phone with AFW and KitchenAid as well as the repair company. I have missed a total of 4 hours of work and have had to pay for ice/water this whole time (trust me...you never know how much you really use until you have to buy it). In short...go to a reputable appliance dealer who cares about the satisfaction of their customers and will go to bat with the manufacturer when a defective product is delivered.
no problmes. i just purchased a slighly dented brand new refridge for several hundred $$ less than the same at the local big box hardware stores or worst buy...gotta say, it all went well...good delivery, nice sales person... so i dont' know what the other reviewers issues were. it did have a broken door shelf when they delivered, but they got me a new one, no argument...i have purchased a few appliacnces from them over the years and really, they were good purchases...i'm goin gdown there to buy a new microwave this weekend.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!I don't know about their new sales department, but their used appliance is in the business of assuring ONE TIME CUSTOMERS, since they have no interest in providing customer support. Their warranty is brilliant, it protects them from having to do anything when a customer buys, say, a dishwasher that did not work. The warranty does state it will not cover the cost of uninstalling, returning, picking up and reinstalling another dishwasher. (that may or may not work)So, the customer gets to pay even more in money and time dealing with a product that was broken from the start. Oh, and no cash refunds, so don't think you have an out there. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
