Meridian >The Rail Sports Pub
good service. Good service, but to many young "tough guys"
Strange that they call themselves a sports bar...when they didn't even pony up for the March Madness package....
...thought I'd support a local pub and took some friends to the Rail to watch the first round of the NCAA men's basketball tourney...only to find that they only had one game showing on their multitude of TVs. The lone bartender there had no clue what I was talking about when I asked why more games weren't showing. She called her boss, only to find out he didn't purchase the CBS package to show more games than what can be seen on a home TV. Nice sports bar!
Another time, I showed up at 5 p.m. in the middle of the week, and there was a sign on the door saying it was closed. Nice. This place is not run well...I have not found the waitstaff to be particularly friendly. Pizza is decent...but I won't be going back there due to previous experience. Poorly run place.
Editorial Review by Mary Morley. Englewood sports bar keeps customers entertained with video games, poker, a juke box and table-top games.
Nice bar. I came here about mid-evening on a Friday (i.e., close to 7pm), which was a little too late to experience the after work crowd. When I got there, there were still a sizeable number of people there, but it was probably more crowded right after work. Prices were average and service was average.
Cheers!. If you want to go to a place where "everyone knows your name" ? Then Rail Sports Pub is for you. The service is first class and before you sit down you order is already taken if not already waiting for you.
