Great Pizza, atmosphere and service!. My boyfriend and I live about 4 blocks from Il Vicino and have made it a regular on our pizza list. With so many great restaurants in Denver it's hard for us to regular a place but Il Vicino has earned that honor. I've had a little of everything on the menu and have never walked away unsatisfied. Typically I order the Vegetarian Calzone which is big enough for two meals. I love the crust and ingredients as well as their olive oil infused with 7 types of chili. The oil has such a great flavor I finally broke down and bought a bottle for the house. The atmosphere is very a clean, bright California style with a nice outside seating area under good shade. You order at the counter but don't think that the service will lack. The servers check on you several times and make the experience all the better. If you're looking for great pizza, calzones, etc that will always be good, you can't go wrong with Il Vicino.

Mostly great food. Love the service here. I have never been served so quickly and with such a smiling face. They made sure I was completely taken care of, which is no easy task with my picky wife and noisy kids!

We all ordered our own pizzas which were on thin crust, my favorite and covered with great ingredients. They had a good selection of salads as well. My only complaint, and really my wife complained about it more that I did, but everything was just slightly too garlicly. I love garlic and italian food, but I don't think it should dominate the other flavors.

The dessert ecairs were really good, the kids went nuts!

Awesome Thin Crust. I have been eating at various Il Vicino's for years and it is consistently great pizza. The thin crust is awesome and the toppings fresh all of the time. It comes out of the wood-burning oven right before your eyes -- no premade pies! Order at the counter from the mouth-watering menu -- they also have a frequent-diner card that can earn you a free pizza. The side salads are small but very fresh. Il Vicino also brews its own beer (off-site) and the Wet Mountain IPA is one of the best beers in the US. Crowded for lunch, but not so much in the evening -- a good place to get a quick, good and inexpensive dinner on the way to a ballgame or a night in LoDo.

Wonderful stop for lunch!!!. Definetly upscale as far as chains go, especially for lunch type of place. Wonderful menu of pizzas, calzone, paninis and salads with lots of fresh unique ingredients. Wife had a calzone, I had a panini (sorry if I spelled that wrong) definetly go with a panini....pizzas looked great too. It came with a salad also which was quite good for a side salad, you can even get it with gorgonzola, a wonderul addition. Service was great too. Highly recommended for a nice lunch stop.

Great place to eat!. I've never had a bad experience here. When I want pizza I think of Il Vicino. The Bianca is magnificent!!

Great lunch stop. I stopped in to Il Vincio for my lunch break, and walked out with a delicious pizza in under 10 minutes. Pizza was fresh and delicious! Even came with fresh parmesan cheese. Highly recommended for lunch.
