The BEST and CLEANIST TATTOO SHOP IN the US!!!. Tribe Tattoo is the most awesome tattoo shop in the US, It is Clean, friendly, the best talent I've seen around. I've gotten all of my tattoos done by him, and they all look new. If you want art and something special, not just some picture request John Slaughter and if he's busy go to one of his employees they are great too( my sister has an awesome piece done on her side by Kristie!) Tribe Tattoo is by far full of artists and creativity!

A True Artist.... Great Shop!. I have been going to Tribe Tattoo for several years. I have not gone to another shop since I found this place and I don't intend to... John Slaughter is the only artist I trust to tattoo my wife and son. We have referred several of our friends to the shop as well and they have all had great experiences. Love the feel of the shop. John is truly a gifted artist with a good soul... Tell him your vision, let him work his magic, and pay accordingly. If your looking to "pick a design out of a book or worse yet... off of the wall" or are looking for the "cheapest tattoo artist in town" then look elsewhere. If you truly want a unique and quality piece, then look no further...

John can tattoo me any time. I've known John for a long time, and I have seen plenty of his work. Next time I get a tat I would not hesitate to walk in his door at Tribe and I know I would have some very nice work done.

Best Tattoo Shop in Denver. When you walk in the front door of Tribe Tattoo you'll find friendly professional artists that truely love what they do. The lobby is very warm and the shop is full of art both on the wall as well as on their bodies. If you want the best tattoo in Denver you MUST go check out the artists at Tribe Tattoo.

Go to John Slaughter!!. I went into see John Slaughter at Tribe Tattoo to do a tattoo on my back ( Iwas referred to him by a friend) and he blew me away with the piece he created for me.

john is an amazing artist, I told him what I was thinking about getting and he drew up an amazing back piece for me that exceeded my expectations!! I love my tattoo and i love Tribe Tattoo!!:)

AMAZING!. This was my first tattoo and I'm 16. I got a memorial tattoo done for my grandma. Kristie did my tattoo and it was a good experience she was nice and friendly. I highly recommend her. The tattoo looks amazing! I will for sure go their for more tattoos in the future.

Best Tattoo Experience. Im in shock reading the last review on this Tattoo Shop because my experience at Tribe Tattoo was an amazing and unforgettable one with John Slaughter.

John not only welcomed me with open arms, but he also drew up a one of a kind piece to start my sleeve.

We went over many ideas together and he made me feel at ease being that this is my first tattoo.

John comes very highly recommended and it shows in his detail, shading and I can't wait for the color!!!

The whole experience was amazing and the shop is beautiful! I will definitely recommend everyone to go to John Slaughter!!! Thank you Tribe Tattoo!!!!

Sloppy Lazy Work. After reading such great reviews, I had John Slaughter work up a sketch for a large rib-piece from my own design. I found that he has a certain old-school, somewhat cartoonish style that wasn't at all what I had in mind, and he was really unwilling (or unable) to work with me on modifying that style and just became dismissive and rude. But again, he came so highly-reviewed that I ended up buying into his "reasons" why the stylistic elements I wanted "couldn't be done" and am now paying for another (much more versatile) artist to fix his sloppy, lazy work. Guy is a pressure-seller who does NOT have your vision in mind - just a quick buck. He isn't great when you're in the chair either - he had me return for a color-fill just two weeks after outlining and black-shading (way too soon, way too sensitive) but had a now-or-never, get-this-shit-done-as-fast-as-possible attitude where any breaks, even just to stretch, are an annoying waste of his time. I am not new to tattoos and am stoic with pain, and I can say hands-down no other artist I have used has been so pushy and condescending. The "man-up" attitude he has is just not necessary if you're working with and listening to your client. I wish I could agree with the rest of these reviews, and there may be some better artists than himself working for him, but I would never send a friend to John Slaughter's shop unless they wanted sloppy lines and amateur shading.

Get Your Ink at Tribe. Tribe Tattoo was an obvious decision due to the fact that John Slaughter comes highly recommended from the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche. I went into Tribe and was invited with open arms as if I was a celebrity and treated with love and respect. John Slaughter understood exactly what I wanted and free handed an amazing sleeve on me. What an spiritual experience and i will continue to support Tribe and John Slaughter forever... my new home

Tribe Tattoo Rocks. John Slaughter designed a custom back piece for me that was unbelievalble!! I wanted an asian theme and he freehand drew sick artwork that I'm proud to have. John has done a lot of cover work on my fiance who recommended that I get my tattoo from him. I was a little nervous because my previous tattoos were small but because of the reputation John has I am proud to have original art on by body from the most talented artist that I have had the opportunity to tattoo me. I get complements constantly and have refered several people who have loved my ink. I'm getting the rest of my leg done so John will be the only artist who will tattoo me ever!
