Here I am about to write a raving review about a place that I frequent and love, just to spread the word of what a great Irish pub the squealing pig is and I see someone's negative, naive, and all together snobby review. I go to the pig all the time. I hold company parties there, bring my family, as well as important clients because the foods great, the beer list is top notch, and the staff is hands down the coolest and friendliest you'll find in cherry creek, probably all of denver. As a long time cherry creek resident, it's nice to have a non-pretentious, unstuffy, fun place to hang out because there's not too many in this area. I understand that with an underground location in an old building, construction projects on every corner, there's a chance a little critter might wander into a restaurant, it happens! As bad as reading that malicious, and intentionally hurtful review was, I feel twice as bad for the pig's awesome staff for having to deal with someone like that. It's known in the hospitality industry that you deal with all kinds of clientelle, I'm just glad the nicest, most down to earth clientelle hangs out here, occasionally every place has to put up with a walking buzzkill. Well I'm getting thirsty, see ya at the pig!
Pros: Great staff, great food, great everything
Cons: parking meter attendants

Worst experience in my life!! I grew up in restaurants and working in them. This place was a dump. After sitting at a sticky booth, my friend across from me noticed something on his foot. He looked down and it was a half dead rodent in a trap. We immediately left the table, where we had just ordered a fresh round of drinks, and told the waiter we wanted to leave. He offered to move us outside, as if we wanted to stay to eat at the place. We said no. In the meantime the manager walked by and shrugged off the fact that we had just seen a rodent. She asked us to not say "rodent" in her restaurant and to pay our bill and leave. We told her that they should at least pick up the round of drinks that were left full at the table. She refused and said "We don't want people of your kind here anyway". I can understand rodents attraction to restaurants, and the possible problem with this, but I have never been treated so poorly.
Pros: None
Cons: Rodents, unfriendly staff, poor service, high prices, smells bad, unclean
