Less for adults, more for kids. While Talulah does offer a few cool knick knacks and stationary, the store has become more and more focused on kids items. Which is great, if you're a parent. But since this store won for the "Best Gift & Stationary Shop," I have to disagree with its high praise for this category. Bottom line: a unique, fun shop for toddlers and parents-to-be; not so great for urban dwellers looking for decorative items.

Kitschy gift boutiques are a dime a dozen, but there's only one Talulah Jones. The modest-looking Uptown neighborhood storefront houses an overflowing hodgepodge of quirky must-have items for the house, the girlfriend and your best friend's baby. From jewelry designed by local artists and funky cuckoo clocks to intricately crafted linens and lamps, this little shop with heart is steeped in treasures.
