Very knowledgable. She is an awesome doctor and her nurse is wonderful. She has found several health problems of mine and the dreaded pap smear is painless. I have been going to her for at least 5 years and wouldn't go to anyone else.

There must have been a personality conflict with the previous reviwer. I have never had any issues with her where I felt she was insensitive  View Less

Never Again Part 1. I made an appointment to have my IUD removed a) because I wasn't comfortable with it, as I was just trying it out and b)so that my husband & I could start trying in the next few months to come. I walked into the office and was hardly greeted by the front desk staff, I had to introduce myself to get their attention. They requested my copay, I provided a credit card for payment which was flatly refused. The staff reprimanded me for not having an alternate method of payment even though I was never informed that credit cards were not accepted. The nurse called my name and took my vitals and was extremely pleasant. At that point in time, I just figured that the front desk staff were having an "off" day and that the rest of my appointment would be just fine. I was wrong. The doctor walked in and grilled me for wanting to take the IUD out, she wasn't satisfied until I bluntly said that my husband and I really want to start trying at which point she finally agreed but yet still seemed annoyed even though I was very clear as to my wishes. As soon as I walked out of the office door, I felt a wave of relief that it was all over, and that I would never need to come back, that I would just find a new doctor the next time that I needed.

Never again! PART 2. I took 3 pregnancy tests which all came back positive. Via the internet I found that I was roughly 5 weeks pregnant. I started bleeding and cramping, just as if I were having my monthly cycle. I had no other doctor to turn to but Dr. Rokosz since it was a Holiday week, and my insurance was changing on the 1st of January. I reluctantly called the nurse and explained my situation. At that time she said, "well this isn't normal, let me talk to the doctor and call you back". Dr. Rokosz was the one to call back. I greeted her and asked, "did the nurse tell you what my situation is?" & she SNAPPED back saying, "you know, I have been in and out of appointment all day, I don't have tiiiime to hear every one's STORY, so if you wouldn't mind cutting to the chase". I was shocked, but knew that if I could just get thru this phone call, I could have a clearer idea of what was going on. She wanted me to come in the next day, but it was mandatory that I be at work, I wouldn't be able to get in until the day after, it was either have a job & wait a day, or please this doctor who was currently yelling at me. I was in tears. She was telling me that it was life or death, that it could be ectopic preg. Yet I kept telling her I was in no pain. I asked if I could go to the urgent care, or ER and she LAUGHED, literally at me, telling me that it wouldn't get covered by insurance. It was known that I was no longer pregnant, which was hard enough as it was, then the way the doctor spoke to me - looking back, I don't know how I got thru it. The conversation lasted roughly 15 minutes, and ending on a terrible note of me begging her, "please have a little more understanding to my situation & be a little more kind" she didn't care, and the call was done. I went to the ER and was checked where it was confirmed I had miscarried. I will never forget this experience & pray that this reaches a woman out there to save her the possibility of a worse heartache.  View Less View More
