What a great turn around!!!!. Not sure what these people were talking about below but , wow . I was amazed at how awsome this place is. Food was delicious, drinks were ridiculously cheap and the entertainment is alot of fun. If you go Sunday nights , they have great Karaoke.. . I get a good vibe here. Everybody is very welcoming. The staff is awsome. After you come here a few times they start to recognize your face and drink orders and its almost like the bar from Cheers. Judging from the comments below and the fact that a review hasnt been written since 08' , this place must have undergone a fantastic change. Give it a shot. I always say dont knock it till you've tried it. I have a great time whenever I go here and its a good place to bring alot of out of towners or buddies. Not just Sundays, but they also have entertainment throughout the week. I would call to double check which night is what.

Head games and more. No reason to go back. We were regulars who put up with the AWFUL bar service before 6pm (after work happy hour time!), attitudes from the wait staff, mediocre food and cheap pool equipment. We did this for the upbeat crowd and overall atmosphere, but the killer came 2 weeks ago. After my friend shunned a waitress who liked him, she whispered something to the others and our night was done. No service, would'nt bring our tabs and I found out later I was overcharged!! Our regular group is happy at the many other bars nearby and have put this overhyped trap behind us!

Lousy Service/Waiter. I understand Friday nights are busy, super busy but to have to wait over 40 minutes for 3 bowls of chili is just ridiculous. We attempted to ask the bartender if we could place our order with her and she insisted our waiter would take our order, so we'd ask him time and time again to please take our order. Finally, we got it placed....40 minutes later. We had to ask the him and the bartender if we could please get our food once again. We went up the bar to get our drinks, not a big deal, but apparently couldn't order at the bar. After a nearly an hour we went to the bartendar where the waiter happened to be standing and it was apparent our order wasn't even placed. I couldn't imagine it would take over 40 minutes to serve up three bowls of chili, but maybe at Blondi's it does! I do have to say the atmosphere was fun and the band was great but our waiter was a social butterfly on frequent smoke breaks...why exactly is he even a part of Blondie's staff when he'd rather be doing shots and smoking with patrons?

hot bartenders and waitresses---lots of smiles good service. This bar is cool. Everyone goes there. I was in one night and some Bronco's were kickin' it playin' pool. They have good food (only tried the Mexican) Waitresses were hot--and fairly smart! (That was a plus plus)

prices good. It's off the light rail---so I could make a quick exit, if need be.

I will be going back for sure.

Great atmosphere, karaoke, live bands and a fun crew. 2 for 1 on 1st drink, free happy hour food.. This is a great bar to have a relaxing, good time. Forget about serious; come here to hang loose and enjoy some good folks. You get a 2 for 1 on your first drink, so how can that be bad? The happy hour food will tide you over for dinner. The waitresses are cute and fun, so head on in and check 'em out. Karaoke is always entertaining; there are a lot of good singers there. The live bands are good, as well. Head on in and you'll be a regular in no time.
