Arvada >D Note
One of my favorite places to dance. One of the best places to find great salsa dancers in the area. It is blazing hot in the summer time, so bring an extra shirt unless you like the sweaty look. LOL It has a nice large dance place when they move the tables out of the way. Come Sunday nights and experience LIVE music. It's always a place where a lot of people go and I love this place a lot. Get out there as this place is great.
Sunday nights are great.
Wonderful time and a great band playing on Sunday nights for Salsa.
The bar was crowded and still got prompt service. (better than other night, thanks )
I have never tried the food here, but everyone recommends the pizza.
Good food, good people, locals welcome.
The pizza at the d Note is far superior to any I have had before. Love, love, love that they have so many vegetarian options (even vegetarian cheese is an option!) My favorite pie is the Taj Mahal...so fresh and yummy. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Love the diversity of the staff.
All in all, my experience at the D note was great. I would highly recommend to others. Oh and the baby boogie on Sunday afternoons was a slam dunk with my 3 and 4 year old kids. What an amazing concept and great way to get kids interested in music/instruments!
I highly recommend everyone stop in for a slice and some fun.
Way to go D Note!
Love this place!.
I've had a few of the best slices of pizza I've ever had in my life here. I've also heard amazing music. The place is locally owned and unique. Even the art is top flight.
Highly recommend. Cool, down to earth staff too.
I usually check out the online calendar to see what's playing.
this place suck with a capital S. The customer service in this place is the worst you'll ever get no wonder the other reviews are so bad. The waitress are so bad there one was asking for a tip at another table, you never ask for a tip and another later was passing broke a glass no type of apology for the glass the was all over our table and then she wanted to walk away we asked her if she was going to clean and she got all pissed come on that's your job. She went crying to her boss and he was even worse. All I say is i will never go back and i will never tell anyone to go Mcdonald is better in food If i could give no stars i would
Nothing like the website made it seem.
I saw no where on your website to contact or make comments. My boyfriend and I just left the restaurant. Trying to stay local to Arvada we popped in. We went in to an empty place, ok for a Sunday afternoon. Our waitress Deva came and asked what we wanted to drink-(ice tea and water-never re-filled). After asking what the specials were she left and went to the kitchen to find out (came back knowing the soup, we asked about the pizza. She left again to find out). I asked for a little more time to decide. We decided on the shrimp pizza with ricotta cheese and the beastie pie with a small caesar salad.
The salad took 20 minutes and was very, very small. The romaine leaves had brown tips and pizza parmesan for $4.75. Waitress came to take the plate, but didn't bother to ask if anything was ok when she seen the barely touched salad. Another 20 minutes later the pizza arrived. After 4 years in culinary school I couldn't even taste the "fresh" basil pesto. The shrimp was unseasoned and the pizza very bland. The beastie pie had sauce that tasted like it was tomato sauce and nothing more. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. The rest of the time we were eating our waitress never came by (even though she walked past us several times, her 3 dollar tip was not earned at all)! 3 other waitresses stood by chatting after setting up table.
I understand being family friendly but for a couple with no kids having them running around screaming with no shoes on while your trying to salvage a $30 lunch was a bit too much. Bland pizza, kids running around and music from the smurfs made for a horrible experience and nothing your website made the "concept" seem like.
A very disappointed customer
Below Average PIzza, Kitchen Needs To Get Their Food To Manage The Menu. Based on reviews, I was expecting a better experience at D Note. Okay, it's not a big deal if we didn't get lemon with our water as asked. It is a big deal if you order salad and pizza and don't get what you ordered. The salad was missing its key ingredients so that was pretty lame. We were delivered the wrong pizza and had to send it back (the incorrect one wasn't even good - too spicy). The correct pizza arrived but it was also missing ingredients that were listed on the menu. The other pizza was drowning in gorgonzala, making it difficult to enjoy the pizza. Skip their pizza but stay for the music. Better yet, I will stay downtown and go to City O' City instead. Their pizza is far superior.
Great music!. The D-Note was a fun place to hang out, have a good pizza & a beer and listen to good music. Judith Avers was playing with Jack Redell and they were awesome. The $5 cover was definitly worth it to support these musicians. They were out of one of the toppings for our pizza but it was still really good and the prompt service made up for it. We were there on Tuesday night at 9:00 so it was a little empty but I'm definitly bringing my friends on a Friday or Saturday soon to see it when its hopping.
Relaxed & fun. Unique atmosphere. Good music, good art, great comfortable atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable. Limited beer on tap selection, but the Easy Street wheat beer was just right.
