If you like to wait....go here.
OY! This was the longest wait for a table (they skipped over us) and then when we did get a table....we had no wait person....THEN when we finally got waited on....the food took for ever. Try waiting almost 2 hours with a cranky 3 year old.... Food was good once we got it..but wasn't worth the wait.

Service could use an upgrade.
In general, this is a decent place with decent food. However, last time I went, I was faced with one of my pet peeves-- the waiter did not clear away dirty dishes until I flagged him down and begged! Managers-- please, please train your wait staff to clear dirty dishes and not leave them for the busboys. I am paying for someone else to take care of this task for me- I don't want to be juggling dirty dishes while enjoying my meal. I don't want to hoist my soup or salad plate out of the way for our entrees. I'm sure we'll eat there again however. The menu has a good variety and appeals to a wide group of folks- this is the place to take your mother in law...

Good food, friendly atmosphere. Varied selection. Just a bit pricey.
As a visitor to Denver, I have been to Mimi's a few times. Consistency is the best word to describe the food.
It is good, bordering on very good. A great place for breakfast if you don't mind a bit of a wait and somewhat pricey selections. But the food is very good. The muffin alone is a meal in itself.
You'll find things on the menu you won't find in other places. Go often and try everthing.

Atmosphere rules at this French New Orleans-themed spot that serves traditional American fare..
In Short
Decorated like a French country bistro with jazzy New Orleans overtones, Mimi's Café was named after a lost love of Arthur Simms, who started the restaurant in 1978 in Anaheim, Calif., with his family. The ambience could only be upstaged by the menu filled with traditional American favorites. Breakfast includes omelets, waffles, muffins and fresh-squeezed juices, while lunch and dinner feature comfort-food classics like pot pie and pot roast, deli-style sandwiches, burgers, pastas, steaks and salads.

Not bad....not great.....
Generic quality food. Nice selection on the menu but the taste of the food is average.
