Absolutely The Best.
A truly great cigar shop is much more than an excellent stock of cigars at good prices. A great cigar shop is an experience, and that experience must include a friendly and expert staff, a comfortable and inviting environment, good conversation with a very diverse clientele, and most of all FUN. And that sums up Cigars on 6th! The proprietor, Dan, stocks some of the finest cigars in the world and his service and expertise is first rate. He also carefully created a space for enjoying that fine cigar that you just chose: light up, have a coffee, and enjoy the conversation with some of wittiest, most interesting people that you could ever run across. Even if you are not interested in conversation, you can relax and enjoy two flat-screen TVs, read the latest cigar-related magazine, or just people watch. Dan also plays host to many excellent cigar-related events that you won't want to miss. If you love fine cigars and good company, you owe it to yourself to drop by Cigars on 6th!
Good Cigars, Good Conversation, Good times.
I'm writing this as I sit in Cigars on 6th and enjoy a La Aurora cigar. I look around and see several people sitting, smoking, talking. This is the scene on any given day. The one thing I love about this place is how comfortable I feel, how anyone can come in and enjoy a good conversation with anyone else.
The shop is small and cozy and the decor is somewhat dark. It reminds me of a place where you expect to see some mafioso types hanging out. When you walk in you are usually greeted by either the owner or one of his friendly and competent employees. Often times you can see some of the regulars playing cards or even dominoes. If you come on the right day you may even see some of Denvers local celebrities.
The Humidors are stocked with a great selection of cigars. There are plenty of good inexpensive cigars next to the higher end ones. Anyone with any budget can find a cigar to enjoy. Once you get your cigar you can sit down in a small but comfortable lounge area, watch some t.v. or talk sports, politics or what ever you want. At the moment the conversation is revolving around what's good for you. "Inhaling cigar smoke might not be good for you," someone says. Once the laughter stops we're talking about what we like to smoke, and what cigars are good for the price.
If you're new to the shop and you take some time to get to know any of the regulars you will want to come back and be a regular yourself. If your a regular... well you already know what a great place this is.

Wish I lived in Colorado.
can't say enough about this place. Was recently in denver on busineess and had ample time to waste and how better to do it than in a cigar shop. I've never been to place where I felt more at home. Felt like one of the family at Cigars On 6th after my week long stay. This store is rather small compared to east coast stores, and humidor even smaller, but compared to all the shops I visited in Colorado (and believe me I visted everyone I could find on citysearch) this had without a doubt the finest selection I've ever seen..ANYWHERE! It's worth noting Davidoff (one of my favs) were non-existent but who needs them when every size Padron 1926 and 1964, Ashton Virgin Sun Grown, and one of my new favs thanks to Cigars On 6th Suggestion, Tatajue, is in more abundance than any shop I've ever seen in my travels. It seems that these days cigar shops are a dime a dozen, but selection is always an issue if you really like premium cigars. I don't know how Cigars On 6th has so many premiums, but they do and if you're staying near the Downtown Denver area, it's well worth the short drive to get there. I can't wait to get back. This is the first time I've ever thought about writing a review, and if this lazy guy has taken the time to do it, trust me, it's worth making the trip over to this store. Tell them I said hello!
