We arrived at 11:30am on a Wednesday afternoon. Present were several working class people, city workers and a few people who looked a little rough. No biggie. We were there to eat, not socialize. The menu looked promising, with lunch specials at about $5.95 as well as a few Thai dishes. I ordered Yushan chicken and he ordered a spicy chicken off the lunch specials menu. While they were described distinctly different, the sauces were identical. There was no chicken to speak of in either dish, just lots of cheap vegetables. I ordered white rice, he ordered fried rice. Both were cold and they had only just opened minutes prior to our arrival. I ordered egg drop soup, he ordered hot and sour. Both were awful and essentially inedible. My egg drop soup tasted "burned", if that is even possible. fFnally, the fortune cookies were stale. We wont be back - there are lots of Asian choices on Federal and Alameda which is only about 2.5 miles away. They far exceed this place by light years both in authenticity and quality. Life is too short to eat bad food.

Cons: food quality, cleanliness

I have found in my life if a place tries to do more than one type of food (i.e. Chinese, Thai, or whatever) they never get any of them right. I was reading the previous positive review and needed people to know the truth. This place was not good. It seems to me the owner may have written the positive review because I'm pretty sure he'd be the only person that liked the food from this place. The food was not fresh, the crabragoon were dry, and the Kung Pao Chicken was stale (peanuts and chicken). What makes a chicken taste stale you may ask...well honestly I don't know but this place made that happen. I would not go here again and would never suggest anyone does.

Pros: It's cheap...

Cons: It's not good food...
