Denver Best Chef.
If they would let me live here I would! I was in last week with some girl friends and we went in for happy hour and we ended up staying for
apps, more apps, dinner, and dessert!!
We tried the duck procuitto, housemade ricotta, roasted baby artichokes, THE POLENTA FRIES, the vegitarian trio, and the lamb t-bones! The polent a fries were the big hit But every thing was so amazing the lamb was the best lamb I ever had! Chef samir says its because its from Colorado but I think anything he prepares is magic. The vegitarian trio had this blue cheese souffle that is to die for it tasted like bacon but had no meat!
I want to take samir home with me and lock him in my pantry!! I really could'nt do that to the rest of denver who has not tried his food or been to the village cork before, I was so impressed how well the staff works together in this beautiful place they keep it very ZEN!
I cant wait to be back, Lisa and Samir do a really great job of keeping this place interesting!

Best Food in Denver.
The village cork sets me into relax mode as soon as I walk in! Its a great place to go with some girlfriends or on a date they have a great
wine list that changes often, and a great menu with local grown food! Chef Samir is one of the best chef's I have ever encountered he is very very food savy and his personal attention to the customers is unlike anything I have ever seen!
Great service they have always been able to suggest a wine that woe's me! Adam and Samir make a great pair of salesman too! I love how they just took control of our evening and told us what we were going to be drinking and eating and we were in heaven! My favorite places to end the work week!

Still The Best.
I havnt been into the village cork in about 2 years until I got an e-mail telling me to rediscover the village cork!
So me and my wife went back on our tuesday date night! There was still that warm and cozy inviting feeling in there and now they have a Chef!
Chef samir has got to be one of the most personal and best chef's in denver right now. Alot of restaurants here in denver are reaching to far to re-invent food. The village corks menu was simple and right to the point we tryed about 6 items off of samir's 13 item menu which changes monthly or whenever he gets bored! The house cured duck procuitto was a mouthgasm and the lamb stew was amazing it had local sweet onions, sweet potatoes, farro, and flavorful tender lamb tenderloin. We finished with the raspberry ladyfinger breadpudding with a pecan gelato. The gelato was the best I have ever had! And they had a wine pairing for each menu item. And one of the best wine list in town just like the food simple and right to the point!
I forgot the hospitality that lisa and her staff provide at the village cork. Sorry we hadnt been in for a while. We cant wait to do another date night there!

Amazing Little Bistro.
This quaint bistro is straight from france in the 1950's with a menu that serves local grown and raised food cook with a rustic italian
flare as the Chef put it. I had the beef shor ribs. I know how clique right but the Chef assured me that I was going to be blown away and blown away I was they were amazingly tender underneath was white beans and this herb relish on top. I paired it with the temperino and that was one of the best meals I have had !
Service was great they made me feel right at home and explained the menu and the wine list with great detail. will be back often!

Just Rude!. I saw the cute, quaint little bistro on the corner and on a whim decided to stop in. After being seated by a very pleasant woman I quickly fell in love with the place, or so I thought. After waiting about 10 min a young man approached me with a menu. I explained I wanted to look over the wine list for a moment. After about another 15 min I had to grab his attention. It was very frustrating because I was watching him talk to the bar patrons(there was a bartender) and literally go out of his way to ignore me. I was fully intending on ordering an appetizer and maybe dinner. He finally came back after several times of trying to flag him down. (it was like he was purposely avoiding eye contact) It was then I decided to just ask for the check, guess what? I waited, and waited, and waited. Finally I grabed the wine menu, found out how much my glass of wine had been, placed money on the table, and left. I was so angry. View Less … View More
