Virlena McUne--Best Hairdresser in Denver. Virlena McUne is a genius in the way all artists are geniuses. She has a vision for you and your hair and is about WHO you are, what you want, and what your strengths (hair-wise) are.

I hate putting her name out there because I don't want to ever try to get in to see her and learn she's booked for 6 months.

However - it's just a matter of time. She's savvy, she's attention, she understands the dilemmas and answers to all hair problems and she creates magnificent hair for virtually everyone who sits in her chair -- whether young or old, short-haired or long-haired or inbetween.

Honestly. It's a little bit amazin.

Indigo Salon is where its at! Great Energy, Location, and Stylists!. What sets Indigo Salon apart from other local salons is three-fold. First, the energy that emanates from this space is green, providing a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the city. These professionals work together in such a connected way that one can't help but breathe in the life and vitality of this salon. Another strong feature of Indigo is its dedication to precision. What I ask for, I receive...every time! I sport a variety of looks, and no matter if I'm going for the professional or frenetic, Indigo delivers. Each one of these professionals is current on trends, so I'm always looking to them for a fresh, fun style! Precise and versatile is how I would describe my stylist. Whether I want a mohawk or color, Virlena always delivers exactly what I'm looking for! One other great feature of the salon is its location. Nestled in between Cheesman Park and a great coffee shop, Indigo is located in the heart of Capitol Hill. If I sound biased, I am. I've been going to Indigo for almost 2 years, and have never been disappointed. Check it out! You won't regret it!

I N D I G L O W hell no. It should be called indiGLOW. went there for a hair coloring and the lady left for a coffee and i had a bad feeling she would be gone too long. sure enough, she left the stuff in my hair too long and my hair turned a bright white. Not what i was looking for. I was stuck in the chair for an hour and a half. unbelievable. she attempted to fix it and i thought it was better till i got home and actually studied it in the mirror. what a train wreck. so i called them and left a message and they never called. all i was asking for was to touch it up to try to make it look better. nope, they failed to respond which is why im writing here. if they would have atleast called me back to discuss it that would have made all the difference. so i ended up getting it fixed at SUPERCUTS, which turns out to be way better anyway. who would have though that super cuts would be so good? now i know where im going from now on. If you do go to INDIGLOW, beware, you may not get any real customer service.

FINNALY a good haircut!. I have spent the last few years in search of a good hairstylist and today my search has ended!

I came in this morning to set an appointment and Brett was able to fit me in a few hours later. My hair did not look good at all when I arrived as I have neglected to get it cut for nearly a year. I have these awful bangs that I'm trying to grow out and they are in that akward can't do a thing with them stage. I honestly did'nt expect much because my hair was so bad. However, Brett really surprised me. She did a super job and even instructed me on how to style it so it's more flattering. I LOVE my hair now. She's also a really nice lady. I highly reccomend Brett and the indigo salon.

Great salon all around. I would definitely recommend Indigo Salon to anyone. It is very intimate, doesn't get loud and crazy like a lot of places and it's very relaxed. I always enjoy getting my hair worked on, and Virlena is awesome. She has the best personality and is extremely good at what she does. Creative, talented, fun, she has all the traits of a great stylist. It's also a fun and unique neighborhood and parking has never been an issue. I am very happy to be able to call Virlena my stylist and have peace of mind knowing my hair is in her hands when I walk in the door. It's hard to find someone you completely trust your hair with! I highly recommend her and Indigo Salon.

Indgio Has Great Energy!!. I think that Indigo Salon has the greatest energy! What a fun group of professional people. I had a very nice experience there, and I loved my haircut!
