Beware of Joanne!. Even after I showed Joanne pictures of what I wanted, she acted as if she didn't know what I meant. She worked very fast, which resulted in my head being tossed around like a ragdoll - it hurt! She hacked my hair something awful, uneven with ragged edges! Color was far from what I asked for. All around, this has been the most awful hair salon experience I've had in a very long time.

See Melissa at Taliesin!!!!. Melissa is great and really keeps up with all the latest trends. The salon is by far is better than ulta and any other salon in the surronding area. Prices are the same as ulta and its way more relaxing.

Melissa moved and i followed.. Melissa is at Taliesin now and i really dont mind the extra driving time to get there because i know the quality of her work and pleasant personality will make up for any inconvinience.

Melissa. I went to Ulta to get my hair done because I have known Melissa for several years and have always been extremely satisfied with her work. She always makes my hair look amazing! Since she is no longer at Ulta my business is going elsewhere as well. Melissa is now at Taliesin Salon Spa at The Ranch. This Salon is also great it's locally owned and not a chain so I feel it is a much better fit for Melissa anyway!

No longer the place to go up north. I was use to getting my hair cut here by an awesome stylist Melissa but she left. Melissa is an awesome stylist. I was use to jumping from salon to salon getting cuts according to the best deal but once I found Melissa I decided to stick with her. Not only does she give great cuts but I can talk to her. I use to hate sitting in the chair in silence for 20 minutes, but with Melissa time passes by smooth and I leave looking the same way. Melissa is now at Taliesin. I like this place as much as my stylist. The one thing I don’t like about Ulta is that it is a chain store that really does not care about its customers. Taliesin takes care of its customers and has a nice location at the Ranch on 120th and Pecos. The best thing is that even though it is an upscale and classy place the prices are the same as Ulta.

Ditto the Feedback on Melissa. Melissa not only did a great job on my hair but educated me on how to take care of it and keep it looking great. This is exactly what I went in for. I'll go back.

Awesome Hairstylist - See Melissa. I've always loved Ulta - plenty of cosmetics selection - but have never done a lot with the salon. I just went in for full color, full highlights and a cut with Melissa. It all came out FABULOUS. She really understands what will and won't work on someone, and is on top of all of the most recent styles too.

Melissa was awesome. I recently got a really great cut from Melissa here and would highly recommend her services. She is professional, friendly and good at what she does. I'm jazzed about the length, cute new bangs and overall style; she really listened to what I wanted and delivered a great end result I am very happy with.

Melissa is the best. Melissa was so great at listening to what i wanted. She was vary friendly and I didnt feel rushed. My color came out amazing and so did the cut!! Loved everything!! Thank you so much Melissa!!!!

Hair stylist didn't listen at ALL to what I wanted!!!!. I went in for a full highlight and it wasn't until after the foils were all out and we went to dry it that Catherine told me that she doesn't highlight the roots in the front because it makes it look more natural. WHAT!!!??? That's why I came in was to get the roots done!! That's EXACTLY what I told her when I got there! Definitely not recomended. The worst part is according the person I spoke to when I set up my appointment, Catherine is the senior stylist with the most experience....now that's a little scary!
