OH MY GOD RUN AWAY FROM THESE HACKS AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!! I have been installing doors for almost 20 years. I started working there on Monday and by Thursday I realized that they were completely lost. The owner Tom is a foul mouthed bully who knows nothing about setting a door. The tools in the shop are junk. They don't even have a proper door boring machine!! They bore the doors using a cheap jig with no precision at all. I did a retro fit drilled by someone else and the holes were off so bad that we had to make the hole for the dead bolt strike 1 1/4" in a 1 3/4" door, there was so much play in the door I was embarrassed to have been a part of it. When it came to setting doors I was told by Tom that 2 inch 18 gauge nails was all I was going to be using on the installs and that the caulking and foam would hold it in place???? I hope one doesn't fall out and kill someone. He had a very foul mouth and a poor attitude In my 3 days I heard how he would become abusive and I could tell it wasn't going to last. My last day I was cutting a material list he became upset when I cut a piece the size on the paper and yelled that I was supposed to add 10 inches I had no way of knowing this because I don't read minds. I said I was sorry and he went off in a rant. I'm 48 and you don't cuss and yell at me so I walked to the time clock clocked out and asked when can I pick up my check he said Friday. Well surprise Friday came and he said I'd get it the following Friday. THIS COMPANY IS SO BAD I DON'T SEE HOW THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS BEWARE THEY DON'T DESERVE A 1 STAR

Beautiful Door and EXCELLENT customer service!. WOW! I am shocked at the previous complaints! My husband and I purchased a new front door for our home and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! So beautiful! We are in the process of getting french doors for our office as well through the Door Store and it's been very easy and fun. I loved picking out the hardware and glass. They have many options to chose from. I thought their customer service was great. I have been working with Brian and he is great. Tom, the new owner, is very nice and the receptionist is a doll. I definitley recommend them. aww, i am so sorry to these these reviews! The only issue I found was they had to reschedule our installation due to weather, but it wasn't a big deal. They were out the next morning.

Horrible customer experience. I strongly encourage you to avoid this business! I've ordered dors through the Denver Door Store and can confirm all the complaints listed in this review section. Aside from a nice selection of doors, customer service is atrocious and their installation service work is completely substandard.

At this time, I'm trying to get a refund for a door that I purchased 2 months ago! They can't even tell me if its been ordered!!

NEVER again!! Don't waste your time or money!! ZERO stars!!!

The Worst!. I was excited to hear the door store had a new owner! My door install had just hit its first anniversary and was still not done. It was disappointing that Mike found someone as bad as him at customer service! The result was a "surly and rude owner" finished the project (almost)....told me to "find another use for my leaded glass sidelight" as he did not plan for it in his "fix" of my door. When I pointed out the door did not mate flush with my floor...he told me to "reset my floor tiles". without a doubt the worst contractor I have ever dealt with. Do not expect the cusotmer service to improve with the new owner. Save yourself the aggravation and buy your door elsewhere!

Customer Service Poor. Bought a door -- beautiful. Mike, the owner does not deliver on customer service. Door was late, late and always excuses. My contractor did the install, however, parts were missing. Part of the metal threshold was missing, no weatherstripping, and missing screws in the door latch hardware. Never Returned Calls. Would not recommend this store. I am sure pretty doors can be bought with good service from someone else.

the worst!. I have owned a business for over 30 years and this business takes the cake as the worst I have ever dealt with. Where do I start?...The supreme lack of basic business skills; reprehensibly rude phone treatment, NO communicative skills -no return phone calls, emails, messages on owners desk. I ordered an expensive door, received no credit card receipt, no confirmation and most offensively, discourtesy at every turn. I warn you, heed this...do not do business with these people. I am so very sorry I did.

Decent doors but BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!! Ordered our Alder double entry doors for $6100. Installation additional. The doors were about a week late but turned out fine. We are trying to have them touched-up with varnish and adjusted as weather has made them shift a small amount. The problem lies with customer service. I have left 5 messages (e-mail and phone) and received no call backs. Talked to Kurt and he assured me that his installers would call me back - never happened. They produce a decent door but forget about customer service.

Customer Service Means Little Here. Upon ordering the product it was to be available for pickup in 2-3 weeks, that quickly turned into 4 then 5 then 6. No phone calls from them to ever explain the delay instead I initiated all contact to find out the issues. After then picking it up, driving home (mind you I live 2 hours outside of Denver) they had forgot to send me with the brick modeling and come to find out the sidelight was installed on the wrong side. The hits just keep coming because their possible resolutions to the problem are less than ideal for the cost of the doors being almost $1000 over estimate and for the distance traveled. Less than 1 star would be a better rating. And check their F rating on the Better Biz Bureau website.

Great doors; LOUSY installation and finish by subs. We bought a beautiful mahogany door last summer from The Door Store. Unfortunately they do not do either the install or even the finish on the door. The use subs. Both were inadequate. The "finished" door had visible hand prints and in only a couple of months the "finish" had faded several shades. We are now paying to have it resanded and refinished. The install was also problematic. The installers did not speak English and literally slapped the door into place. In a couple of weeks the door would not open and they came out and quickly shaved some off the side, but now there is a permanent gap between the jamb and the door. The Door Store did not care about what happened after we paid for the door. I will never do business with them again.
