Thumbs down! I bought ten stems of
lilies several days before an event, I was promised they would be tight buds, however they already started to open. I called request return and get some fresher ones, they refused (rudely) and insisted that these would be just fine for my wedding party later that week.
They were wrong I had 1/3 of the blooms unusable and many of the remaining blooms had brown spots, petals off,etc. $40 worth of flowers. I requested a refund, if not all-- at least partial. Here's there rude response:
"The Brown spots on the image are Pollen spots, that happens when you do not remove stamen in time . Petals off is another indication of bad treatment.The lilies were perfect. We have been florists for more then 30 years , and know products very well . U obviously used the product. We feel there is no need for us to discount or refund and we will pursue this trough small claims court if needed.
Small claims court? really? Hopefully they will lose a lot more that $20-$40 worth of business from this review. See other reviews that supports this lack of customer service-- they really don't care if you are happy or not!
I recently received a gift basket from my girlfriend and it was without a doubt one of the coolest valentines gifts ever. It was received in a timely courteous fashion and i highly recommend 5280 to anyone wanting a top shelf gourmet gift.
My fiance is long distance, and Amy and Fred put together an awesome Valentine's cookie basket for me to give him. Not only was it beautiful, but he LOVED the gourmet brownies and cookies! They were very instrumental in my fella having a wonderful Valentine's Day! THANKS!
Terrible service. I placed an order for delivery for a Monday. The flowers never arrived. When I called, they were very apologetic, explaining that the order was misplaced. They offered an upgraded bouquet for delivery the next day. Even though the occasion was over (generally you do want flowers delivered on a SPECIFIC day), I accepted. The next day - no flowers. I called again. This time they weren't even apologetic. They said they couldn't find it (the address was on CU Denver campus), and couldn't find a map online. Obviously, there IS a campus map online. They never bothered to call me to let me know, and the guy seemed put off that he would be expected to actually proactively try to deliver...3 days late. There are too many florists in Denver to put up with the lazy service and bad attitudes at this place!
Important information left out.
As is usually the case the complaint is half true , and important information has been left out. We did misplace the order and upgraded the order and went out to deliver the next day , to find out that the address was incorrect. We called the recipient 3 times that day to get the right address and finally at the end of the day we got a call back with the correct address , and set up delivery again for the next day with the recipient. In the morning Zoe called again to see if the delivery was made , and as we attempted to explain that she had given an incorrect address she got violently aggressive , did not listen and went on a blind rage of yelling and screaming over the phone . She demanded her money back , so we cancelled the order and refunded the money . As a suggestion I would say to please let the other person explain since we cannot deliver to a wrong address. We are not lazy , care about our clients.
Waste of time. Speaking of wastes of time, running around the internet reviewing places is not normally my style, but this place is terrible. Why even have a website if it doesn't display the correct information? As far as delivering flowers goes the DELIVERY TIME should at least be accurately reflected on your site. Not only that, but when YOU SCREW IT UP don't write me rude emails full of totally unnecessary attitude. Your fault dude, not mine. Save yourself some time and attitude and order your flowers somewhere else.
This was not a client . we searched around these dates, and nothing could be found. It is sad to say but our competitors plant bad reviews I wish there was something we could do about this.
Not a good experience. I ordered from this company for the first time, sending a cookie and truffle basket to my mother-in-law. The delivery was missing items in comparison to the website description. I questioned what was delivered and got this reply from the company: "Ok Maybe the we forgot to put a leaf and a blossom . that is possible You mother made it seem like we send some kind of supermarket bag with crap , and that is absolutely not true and do not send out garbage." A very unprofessional response and I will not order from them again.
Amy's the best!. I was so impressed with my wedding flowers that I just had to write a review. Amy was very helpful and responsive to my needs. My flowers were beautiful and fresh and I will definitely order from her again.
Great place for Flowers and Giftbaskets. What a great find. I used their website for a Cookie and Brownie basket , and got a great reply from my client. Usually I do not hear much , but they called me to say how awesome the cookies and brownies were . Then I used them for a sympathy arrangement . I had a chance to see what they send to the funeral and it was better then the picture. I was impressed , and they even offer Organic and local Products.
Best Valentines Gift ever. When my Valentines delivery arrived last week everybody in our office was impressed . It was a Dozen Long stem Red Roses from 5280Flowers.( the longest roses with the biggest heads I have ever seen ) in a heavy glass vase . It was so tastefully decorated with red orchids and purple fillers and unusual greenery. It is now one week later and they are still beautiful. It came with a golden box with the most delicious chocolate covered strawberries . It was super, great awesome . Best Valentines gift I ever received
Happy longtime client. Best service and products ever. We have been working with 5280flowers and 5280gourmet for 3 years and they always to amaze me. Amy is always very friendly and helpfull and the consistent product they send out always gets great reviews. They have the most amazing fruit and gourmet baskets , and were able to provide them on short notice. We have used them to send thank you's for our nationwide clientele, employees, and our Christmas baskets. They send out 125 of them for us last year , nationwide and we got good feedback. They have a fabulous new baby basket that we send out to our employees that have additions to the family , as well as fantastic flower arrangements for sympathy's.
