french dip? ha. This restaurant looks really nice, the atmosphere is great, and the service was good.... but the food was lacking. A few other people posted that this was the best french dip in Aurora and I have to disagree. I haven't found the best yet, but this is NOT it. My sandwich tasted like ground beef and was so greasy it was dripping. I only finished half of it. Maybe I was there on an off night, but I won't be going back to find out.…
Great place with great food!. My husband and I were traveling to Denver for a medical procedure and I wanted to find something new to try. I found this resteraunt on here and thought it looked good! After a long day of traveling it was a perfect spot to wind down. We both had the soup and it was a great starter then he had the pesto pasta which was to die for. I had the meatloaf and it was the same. We could not stop talking about how wonderful it was. We ended up eating it again before we left! It is a must for some good food, and we will be going back again!!!…
Good Price and Tasty Food. From the outside this place looks nice. Inside it is very casual. We went here with my friends and it was a bit slow so they allowed us to seat ourselves. The wait staff was very patient and friendly with us. The food was really good, which kinda surprised me. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable, but altogether a good place for the price.…
Very surprised this place has a 5 star average. Since writing my reviews on Citysearch, I decided to use this site to find a new place to eat at. My BF and I had a date night last night so my searches were "romantic dining" and "jazz bar" and a couple others in my area. Bent Fork came up for all of them and since it had a 5 star rating, it was an easy choice. When we got to the establishment, we were promptly seated... next to a family with loud screaming children. We could hear another table with a crying baby around the corner from us as well. Very annoying and NOT romantic at all. The menu looked great! We split a bowl of tortilla soup and a caesar salad. The caesar salad was mediocre, the soup was delicious and the garlic bread tasted like it was made a couple hours ago and re-heated. My BF also had a dirty vodka martini. It was very weak. I'm glad I stuck with water. For our entrees, I ordered the lobster pasta and my BF had the bleu cheese burger. The lobster pasta was very bland, no flavor. The menu said a spicy lobster bisque was used for the sauce. There was barely any sauce, it tasted and looked nothing like lobster bisque and had no spice at all. I don't remember the last time I actually did this, but I didn't eat it & I sent it back. The garlic bread that came with the pasta was fresh & tasty. As for the bleu cheese burger, just looking at it from across the table made me a little queasy. It was so greasy it was soaking through the bun. It also had no lettuce, tomato or any veggies on it. My BF said the beef was actually delicious. I even tried a bite and have to agree. It was a cheap, thin bun that the grease demolished quickly that made it look as bad as it did. In conclusion, the service was fantastic! Our waiter kept constant tabs on us, my water glass was never empty (and if you read any of my other reviews, this is a big deal to me), and he was sympathetic to our bad experience with the restaurant. He got a good tip. I don't believe this place is worth a return visit.…
Great american food in Aurora.
The first time I found the bent fork I was looking for a place to take some friends and family out for dessert. We showed up, were seated promptly and service was excellent. I had the raspberry
bread pudding while most everyone else tried their wide variety of dessert options. Everyone was extremely satisfied with their choices.
I?ve been back since for dinner and had the same experience. Fast friendly service, excellent food, great atmosphere.
I would not hesitate to suggest the bent fork to anyone.…
