Seriously?. To the posting below me...oh no, you are so wrong. I have experienced this same kind of behavior and unprofessionalism from the manager at this salon. The negative reviews are so very true.

All 1 star reviews are fake. First off let me start by saying I have had over 1 year of good haircuts from multiple stylists as Von Ya's. They have always been friendly and remember me and what I want.

I get tired of seeing this happen time and time again on sites like Yelp and Citysearch. Someone decided to review bomb this salon with multiple accounts. Notice how all of the one star reviews have no reviews of any other businesses? Notice how they all sounds the same talking about a 'rude manager' and how there was 3 reviews, each one day apart from the other? Yeah... someone has some weird vendetta against this place probably because they got fired.

Don't let the fake reviews fool you, give this place a try. My only complaint is it is a little pricey.  View Less … View More

A great haircut. This was one of the best haircuts I've ever received. I called for an appointment at 9am with any available stylist, and saw Taylor at 11:15am. Usually, my hair cuts take 10 minutes, and I leave unsure of whether or not I like the result. My experience with Taylor was great because she asked for feedback about each part of the cut, making sure it was exactly what I wanted. I never felt rushed, which was important because I had 9 inches cut off my hair. She was extremely friendly as well. I left with a meticulously done haircut I was immediately happy with. A $60+ experience for $25.

I'm not sure whether the other positive reviews were written by staff, since the comments here are so polarized. After I came back and saw the negative reviews, I wanted to add my experience since usually people with complaints are more motivated to write than people who had good experiences. Skilled stylists, great atmosphere. Obviously things have changed for the better. I started going here in spring 2009 and have been getting great cuts and a nice, relaxing, pleasant experience. My stylist (Alyssa) is fabulous, and I've also always observed the other stylists to be professional and their clients look good to me! The prices are fair--not overinflated.
